The craziest Nuzlocke Ruleset I've ever done?
-Can only catch the first encounter on every Route
-If a Pokemon faints it's dead and can't be used anymore
-No Items in Battle
-No overleveling the next gym leader
-No Dynamax
-When you first enter a route or area you cannot heal or leave it until you beat every trainer on that route

"Fight all trainers, no over leveling" I didn't think it was even possible in Sw/Sh
I don't do it in nuzlockes, but if you battle all the trainers, you always get nice levels, without needing to grind
@@djt08031996 the point is that this game is so easy that if you fight all trainers and nothing else you are already (nearly) overleved
The problem is Exp candies make overleveling to easy
I fought all trainers and was under leveled the whole game

I tried doing a nuzlocke of this game, but I made a mistake and went to the Crown Tundra. Fun fact, the Crown Tundra doesn't scale down like how the Isle of Armor does

Technically, you don’t black out by losing the first battle in the Crown Tundra, so an optimal nuzlocke strategy would be to sacrifice a Pokémon, purposely losing the first tundra battle. Then, get a dynamax adventure encounter and proceed to dunk on the main game.
@@obits3 Only if they aren't doing a hardcore. If you are doing a hardcore you can't use them cause of overlevelling. And may not have had enough encounters for the optional if you still have pokemon in pc you can keep going rule.

It's funny how Nessa's Dreddnaw actually gets nerfed between battles. Going from Swift Swim to Shell Armor.
Also, wow, that Choice Band Trick Strat was fantastic.
Also Gigantomaxing swift swim dreadnaw nerfs it since it can't set up rain because it doesn't get max geyser

it's not a nerf, it's actually smart if you think about it, cause Dreadnaw in the first battle was Swift swin with DYNAMAX, meaning it gets rain from max geyser, the one on the rematch however is a GIGANTAMAX dreadnaw that DOESN'T set up rain, meaning swift swin would be useless in it's kit this time...

Honestly does it matter? There are so many rom hacks now we don't need to seek the thrill in the main game anymore. Pokemon has always been a children's game and always will be so it kinda needs to be a little easy.

@@studentman9528 The games were definitely harder before, I played some of them recently. In this game, you literally never had to grind and you can easily be overleveled if you fight all the trainers (expect for Leon), especially in this game.
Also, the average kid isn't unskilled and stupid. They actually are way better gamer than we used to be in the early 2000's AND they have a way easier access to information (easier access to internet, way more youtube video and website, parent being less strict...). Also, if they still struggle, there are a ton of legal cheat codes called "using the legendary", play in switch mode and use item. Every kid at least once abused of revives and know how strong and game breaking it is.
@@studentman9528 It does, there should be at least a bare minimum. And it's not like it's something that needs to be 'added', this literally happened in all previous games. Opponent not switching out meant the team didn't have any moves to hit you with, they always went for a kill if they saw one
Honestly they just need to add difficulties like a hard mode for the people who want to play pokemon for a challenge and have a normal mode which would be the easy shit
I find it hilarious that this is supposed to be super hard and then he one punches an entire team with one pokemon.

Nessa's Drednaw totally has swift swim, lol. It outsped my whole team on my first playthrough. "Why is that TURTLE so FAST!?" I thought.

They did actually yeah. I went back and beat it on attempt 2 though! I dont really feel like the contents of those runs are up to my new standards for this channel but heres the champion fight where I wiped and the one where I beat it on attempt 2 if youre curious!

Adding a whole bunch of challenges to make this game almost as difficult as the previous ones without a nuzlocke
Kinda wild how easy it would be even with this rule set if you didn’t have chat voting out mons constantly and also if you didn’t keep doing high level raids just to speed up grinding. Like even this crazy rule set needed that extra shit on top for this game
Thankfully he wasn't counting the deaths from the raids otherwise he might have lost XD

You're not leaving the route, you're using what the game have you
Well yeah, it's inevitable anyway
The rules state you can't heal or leave until all trainers have been defeated on a route. So healing using trainers that heal would go against that rule if you're trying to follow his exact ruleset.
Of course, if you wanna heal using trainers, then go ahead. I think PC wouldn't using this ruleset though.
@@Malenrick the thing is that if you are going to fight every trainer in every route, there are trainers that after you beat them, they heal you
I know this is late af but I would imagine that you just fight those trainers last so you don’t get the benefit of healing

As a guy who sometimes loves and hates doing Nuzlockes, a Galar Masterlocke sounds like something that will actually make the game hard!
There were so many crits in this run that killed your mons. Particularly Up dying to a crit in the raid and Sixth Sense getting crit twice in a row. Although given that you did every trainer, it’s hardly surprising lol

He is shown catching what seems like 1 pokemon per section of the wild area using rustling grass or othe rmeans to randomize it, and he did say he did no captures from raids. So probably that

For more torture, you can add locking the first encounter of each route until you get a sub (gift subs count) then the next pokemon will be considered the first encounter for the purpose of catching.

This is actually how I played my very first nuzlocke. Maybe not a great way to start, but I still thought it was fun, except I also couldn’t run from encounters, or heal with my camp, only npc camps I found on routes

I did a bug type only run for SW/SH and it was far harder than I thought it would be with perma-death and not being a higher level than the gym
I did an ice-only run for shield and cloyster with shell armour is insanely busted. Run shell smash, iron defence, razor shell and icicle spear, and give it leftovers. Walls any physical attacker

I ended up doing a wonderlocke with this ruleset, though I added a few extra rules
Has to be a pokemon within the badge catch range
Has to be nicknamed, meaning no matter how good or bad it is, if its not the default name in the language set by the game, it was traded again. Was pretty fun, plenty of losses though as I aint the best pokemon player lmao

I'd never done a Nuzlocke in 20 years of playing Pokemon games so to ease myself in I went with Sword based on this video.
I misheard some of this ruleset (and implemented some of my own restrictions) so my run ruleset is;
1st random (no overworld spawn) pokemon in each none-Wild Area location.
No Pokemon Centre healing.
Route walking (but items are allowed).
I can catch 1 wild area overworld spawn AFTER each defeated gym of my choice (must be caught same day to prevent weather manipulation).
No Dynamax.
No Max Raids.
No Technical Records.
No over levelling next gym leader, or over levelling current maximum catch level (as per trainer card).
Just beat Raihan so I have like 3 more possible captures allowed.
Unironically the first time I've ever seen Unnerve actually be slightly threatening. Kinda crazy.

Ich hatte mit Pokemon aufgehört als ich den dex in Platin voll hatte. Durch Zufall bin ich auf dich gestoßen Jan und beschloss mit Pkmn Schwert wieder anzufangen. Da ich damals viel competative gespielt hab war ich selbstsicher genug, um das ganze als Nuzlock anzugehen (grundregeln +keine kampfitems + kein dynamax + nicht überleveln+ Keine Pokemon aus Raids).
Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: ich hab 2 Pokemon verloren beim 8. Leiter. GG. Letztendlich wollte ich dir nur danken an dieser Stelle! Mach weiter so:)
