It's just amazing how much old slowhand relies on the pentatonic scale.
That's why it's important to learn your major and minor pentatonic positions it'll take you so far and guitar-playing unless you're just playing a bunch of thrashin speed metal chopping away heavy gain and distortion and nothing else then you don't need to know.
