On this adventure I went out solo to gather a feed of Wild Pacific Oysters. Juliana and I had fun preparing them together but even more fun eating them. Delicious Fat Pacific Oysters!

Like the Mud oysters we used to get on the Kaipara, the record was 1 oyster filled a tea cup.
I used to collect a sack which I put whole in the freezer then when ever you needed a feed of oysters take out a handfull and thaw on the kitchen bench they pop open as they thaw so easy as. We would eat raw like that or deep fried in batter mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

New Zealand pacific oysters have a disgusting flavour, full of mud and slime, which the mud causes, my cousin said that they taste like semen. I used to grow them in Mexico, and they tasted great, clean water, no rain to polute them with land run off.
