We love cooking after catching fresh seafood!
A little unfortunate that they have to be shucked before taking home, I like to put them in the shells onto the smoker... I'll stick to getting them from the oregon oyster farms for now I suppose.
Yup! we prefer the same as well.
WOW LOOK VERY YUMMY ♥️💋
Wash using the sea water but I love mine raw I love youchild blame the raccoon lol
Lol! Sean is so funny!
What was the name of the falls. The term is harvest the oysters. I live on the hood canal.
That's awesome! We might try to fish that area this season. It's called Rocky Brooks Falls. Not too far away from the state park.
Haha i think oyster hunting lol
Which state park did you guys go to ?
This was in Western Washington. Recommend looking at WDFW website for oyster spots.
@@KayeandRemo thanks! There’s a few but which one was this ?
Where is that in Washington.
Where is the location for the oysters?
Twist the oyster knife . Don't pry much.
Do you need a permit to harvest oysters?
Yes. You can get the daily one from Bass Pro or Sportsman Warehouse. However, the annual one is a better deal.
Oyster foraging
Nice!
3:20 i dunno, did you say GO-E-DUCK but i remember it spells GE-O-DUCK for those "Elephant trunk"-shell, right ? Or mine is wrong?!?
Geoducks are the ones with the long syphon and brown shell. At first we thought pronunciation was Geo-duck similar to Nat-"Geo" but came to find out that it is actually pronounced Gooeyduck! Confusing but either way, those things are great tasting!
5:30 the seawater looked so slimey and polluted, or too oilly ?!? But have not found dead fish, just yet ?!?
The tide was low at that point and there were tons of seaweed and algae around.
Do you need a fishing license and how many you can get for each person?
Need to have a fishing license to harvest Oysters here. This beach currently has a limit of 18 per day.
@@KayeandRemo 18 for each person a day?
Yes, 18 each person a day.
Ako suka na may sili lang katapat nyan drecho babad na sabay kain habang nagbubukas kaysa deluto pa😅🤣😂
Tumpak!

Where is this exactly located?
Due to this area and the Washington harvester community, we cannot disclose directly the location of this spot. However, we highly recommend checking out WDFW's website for the best up-to-date spots oyster harvesting. You can set some filters in no time and you might even be able to find a spot near you!
Hi, what beach is this?
This was on the west side of Kitsap Peninsula. We highly recommend going to WDFW's website for list of beaches for clamming!
Mom so focus can’t answr the boy 😅
Umm I would love to go there 😀 direction please 🙏

Geoduck is pronounced gooey duck
These people doesn't allow any creatures to live.
I hope he help with the cleaning as he only do the ‘talking’ the whole vid.
