Finally! I have had the time to sit at my computer and watch this awesomeness unravel. This engine doesn't look too bad! Hard to judge tolerances and such from here, but it all looks like it would clean up nicely to me. It reminds me of a completely seized 11cc four stroke RC plane engine which was given to me by one of my customers. After a bit of love, I managed to make it run again (I made a playlist of the rebuild on my channel, but it pretty much went unnoticed). I don't own an RC plane, so it sits on a corner of my desk now. I know there is a sequel to this tear-down of yours, so I am off to watch that right away! Catch you later, brother!
I was surprised at the overall condition once the shock of cracking it open wore off. It took a day to clean it inside and out, tank included. Wow it's great to bring something back to life again, it may not fly in an RC plane but sits proud as an achievement. Hope you enjoy the small sequel it's a testing day for my fuse. Excellent to hear from you brother hope all is well.

@@mehimrc1314 I'm not necessarily crapping on Nitro, I think the issue might have been me. But with how good electric is these days, I don't feel the pull to try it again and find out :)
The pull to try haha that's a pun and a half bro. Well I'm not crapping on nitro, but plugging in a battery, hitting the start button. Is way easier and way more fun within 30 seconds.
Rah bro ... new territory .. honestly if its clean and and the plug works should be OK.. hydro check some engine components if you can push shower water through ? .. but yh a clean and service is always what they usually take
That my hopes mate been binge watching best way to clean nitro engine ect. (thebug 404) is the boy. I'll just pass people his way tbh, all I want is this beast to run with very little spent on it. I'll be one happy chap if I can pull it off 😂 definitely new territory and cheers for your actual mechanical skills.
@@mehimrc1314 brill big mate iv a nitro sitting in bits and it never run right from the day bought it so I took a hammer to it and that sorted that problem 😂
Nice that engine looks shot lol but again I don't no f all about nitro I have one though a hpi savage I had it running on ten year old fuel lol didn't work to good my mates into nitro and we guna get it running again

Be good to see you get this old beast running once more. I had a nitro buggy in the mid 2000s. Once was enough :)
