Original overview video: • Costco Yardistry Green... In this video I go over Pros and Cons of the Yardistry Greenhouse purchased from Costco after 9 months. This is the 7.8’x6.7’ model.
Love this review. You are easy to listen to and I love your personality. Made me even happier that we purchased this. We just finished it so too late to start any seeds but I will next year. I'm running out to get some tomato plants now since a greenhouse is the only way to grow them where I live on the PNW coast. Thank you!
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching! I did not know that about the PNW and tomatoes. I do envy your climate for growing flowers! Best wishes on your future gardening with your greenhouse 😊
I had plants dying on me from how hot it would get when it was sunny and hot so I replaced the gable panels with screen. Works fantastic. When it gets cold again, I will cover the screened area with paneled inserts I made. I ran out of space too, but I just made an additional bench shelf and will be making some for under the bench shelves once I figure out what I'm actually storing.
"The white oak homestead" did a video called "costo greenhouse upgrades and he shows a few things he changed or added to make his more usable. You should look at what he did for the vent window on the ceiling. It looks like its just a simple peice of wood swapped for the automatic arm and makes it manual. Im considering trying that as well.
Thank you for that! I will check out their video! There are a few modifications my husband and I have thought about doing. Something else I saw someone do that we might try it making the front door a Dutch door so that I can keep my dog out while still have that extra ventilation of the door being open
@thegrace-filledgarden I'm still building mine but researching all the cool things everyone is doing with theirs. I also love the idea of the Dutch door but I am scared to cut it lol

Have you seen any issues of water coming through the roof window?
Very minimal, but ours is also wedge tight when shut (thus why our hinge broke)
What zone are you guys in?
We are in Zone 7
What area of the country is the greenhouse?
The greenhouse can be purchased online from Costco, I am in the zone 7 Midwest
