- President Cyril Ramaphosa was escorted out of Parliament on 10 June 2022, after Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) MPs were forcefully removed from the presidency budget debate. Ramaphosa was replying to the debate vote that he tabled on 9 June 2022. EFF MPs objected to being addressed by Ramaphosa, citing the criminal complaint against him by former spy boss Arthur Fraser.

As a neutral party, I believe that the EFF's behavior is justified in the sense that, they bring to light the corrupt issues that the ruling party is trying to sweep under the carpet. Yet, it is handled in an unprofessional manner. If the EFF and other parties can work in a controlled and peaceful way, to address these issues, it would truly be a step to a better South Africa
