  • Acefast is a pretty new name to me, so I went into this review not really expecting much. But when I got my hands on these, the build quality alone screamed that these should belong in a much higher price segment. These are certainly one of the most beautiful looking sets of TWS earphones I’ve ever reviewed but surprisingly, these aren’t all just about the looks. They carry themselves quite respectfully when it comes to their sound as well.

      Greetings Matthias. Yes, it really is astonishing. Going into this review, I thought these earphones were all about the looks but was quite taken with how well they carry themselves on a sound front. It's pretty impressive. I hadn't heard of them as well but they've got some interesting looking products.

      A good, no-nonsense set of earphones to get for your purpose would be the Oppo enco air 2 pro. It should last you well over a year without any issues. The other few I've tested like the OnePlus Buds Z2, JBL 230NC, Realme Buds Air 3 etc, all have some niggles here and there.
      So, best to keep it simple and go for the oppo.

      These don't have an app, so there's no knowing how much charge the earbuds hold. Considering both are sounding different, I'd advise you to get in touch with their customer support. This shouldn't be happening.

      If it's just for ANC and nothing else, the realme Buds Air 3 do really well. If it's for music, I'd choose the 230NC over the realme any day, likewise, if it's for calls.

      It's not a vast difference but good enough to tell that it's better than the 230NC. It does cut out more noise for certain, but one thing to keep in mind is, If you have smaller ears, some people have faced discomfort which leads to pain when wearing the realme for a prolonged period of time.

      There were ANC hissing issues I had with my first unit, and I've heard of others having the same issue. I've not heard as many cases recently, but usually, these units were sold by Amazon, possibly older stock. Try and pick up a set from the store to avoid this issue.
      The good news is, OnePlus honors the one year warranty. So if they need to keep replacing a faulty unit, they will.

    Hey Paul, Oppo encho air 2 pro vs JBL 230 nc ...which is better in ur pov ?

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  Před rokem +2

      The JBL is superior on a sound front. There is much better detail there and tight yet full bass delivery. The oppo can tend to sound like it's got an amping issue compared to it.
      But having said that, from the point of owning a set, a few people have had issues with the JBL where one bud stops charging and the only remedy is to keep taking it to the service center for a clean up whereas the oppo is a no nonsense set to own. I haven't yet heard of anyone having issues with it, and from my experience with oppo products, they've all lasted me a little over 2years before imminent battery failure.

    You always say not to listen 👂 songs over 25-35% volume ...so do you say that in respect of mobile device or with hifi devices like amp,dac and pc

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  Před rokem +1

      I usually say stick to 50% for earphones and headphones, exceeding that threshold usually takes most of them above 85db which is too loud a level yo listen to in the long run if you intend on preserving your hearing. No doubt, time of exposure is also a factor.
      For IEMs I've preferred listening to them at 25-35% since they seem to driver easier, considering they have a low impedance.
      Even with stereo systems, any driver really, as Ling as you listen to them at lower volumes. Your ear health should be in good condition.
      I know people who pop TWS earphones into their ears yo test them, crank em straight to 100% then say,"It's not loud enough". This is usually a clear sign of serious hearing loss.
      So basically, avoid going above 85db for a long period of time, and your ears should be fine.
