Good video, thanks for sharing. I'm a little puzzled by the naysayers comments. Several people were very negative about price and size, but other than one person I didn't see them recommending different condo's that were better. I think that if a person wants to talk down about something like this, they should have better place to compare it to (IMHO)

I stayed there in building 4, that building 5 you looked at was still under construction. A bit noisy that road adjacent there. Almost always taxis waiting though!
Ecoland condos opposite was not a part of One Oasis..
That room, a studio with a faux bedroom... couldnt swing a mouse in there.
Would recommend building 1-3, and a proper 1 bedroom for a long term rental.. the one I had was much bigger and really comfortable.
I also didn't see the locals using pool in the daytime, fear of getting darker skin!
The Eden Nature Park up the mountain in Davao is a fun day out 👌🏼

Was there for 10 days in May/June. I really liked that my room had a washing machine. Guards are cool.

Yes I like that one Oasis condos myself when I come to the Philippines I'll be looking at that to stay in Davao City make sure I keep that on my radar.
Great place to stay.... the guards are great and helpful.... with the mall next door you have a choice for everything.... I stayed in one bedroom... great place.. 👍

You called that big? That’s a tiny studio, not even a 1BR. WAY too expensive for that.
I have lived in Asia awhile so I consider it good size for 1 person. I had a 28sqm place in Cebu so 45 sqm is big for me.
@@mikemasters4382 You can call it what you want and the bar was fine to sit at. I show the places to help people find places when they arrive. If you don't like the condo cross it off your list. If I didn't say it includes electric then it doesn't include it.
Every condo here is different design. The condos we rent here are inclusive. We have good WiFi. Secruitiy is excellent as you can see from the video he was picked up by our security when he was walking around. I nickname her Helga... she just needs a whip and a German shepard dog. Lol
These condos are the best in davao and are always full.

Mike Masters: agree, it’s a studio apt. I have a one bedroom condo @ Ortigas Conter that has a separate bedroom with its own air conditioning and separate kitchen across the street from Robinson’s Galleria.
The unit he showed was nice and open-air grounds, but for a studio apartment, that’s very expensive. I personally would find a real one bedroom to rent.

Price too high for davao imho. But not bad place for one person and maybe a couple. But price should be 15-20 max
I think it is too high too but that was just the price of 1 place, I know I saw units for less there. But I will pay higher for the location still much cheaper than the USA.
A Bachelor in Paradise Need to stop thinking about relative to the US, and start thinking relative to the local market. I agree, that place should be no more than 15-20k. They were playing you.
How can I be played when I didn't take the unit? I would have only been played if I rented the unit lol!

@@motokenny8045 How would a filpina know rental prices of condos, they really have no experience in that.
A couple things I noticed in Davao. Most people I met were paying nowhere near what the agencies were asking. Also, motorbike parking wasn't always included.
It is best to have a filipino friend help you deal with it.
Hi welcome to one oasis. I just missed you round the pool. The gym is small.... but nobody uses it.. the music room is junk room for the office. There is a 24 hour gym in sm mall. You don't need to walk outside for taxi just tell the guard and taxi will come inside. Iam from UK and this is a very nice place. I own condos here and my partner runs the condo buisness here.
The pool is always quiet in the day, I call it Foreigner time. Lol.

I spent 6 months in Davao the location of these condos are great . I was nearer abreeza but more central would be better this is a good option thanks for posting . Some of the comments are hilarious.

A quick question. When you start talking management you do it in meters and such. Why not square feet it as far as the apartment goes
I've converted to meters since living here so long and everything is the metric sytem here.

Visually this looks good but it’s only suitable for small chickens to live in. I guess Filipinos are physically small so they can live in these Rabbit hutches. My bathroom is bigger than the gym.
And I really don’t know how I’m going to get my pool table in. Lots of positive talk about the pool but you can’t live in it and you are going to get burned if you hang around out there for more than 10 minutes, hence it’s empty. If only the condo was as big as the pool.

Wow, quite an improvement over the Ayala slum tenement you reviewed last time. Nicer in every way although still tiny and a cheap plastic slider does not make it a one bedroom. Almost insulting to tell you it is. Same with the "gym." Noise? Reserved parking space for you only? What time in the evening does pool close? 24hr security? Very livable but still overpriced. Keep looking unless burnout is setting in.
I never rush, I use airbnb until the perfect place and price pops up.
How much for a 2BR in this place?
Around 25 to 30k monthly.
Can only imagine if you had a problem with the apartment clearly zero fucks given 🤪by the staff
Cost of utilities?
Well, depends on how much you run the aircon, if you are running it a lot you could have a $100 monthly bill but if not that much then maybe as low as $40
Jym lol. Not included in rent. 150p when schools out they rent the pool and basketball court. 50-60 kids a day in pool. Loud pa system on court. They bring them in by the buss load. If your just a few days or week it's nice. I lived there six months. Times beach street food. Good food I fed myself and two filipina for 350p. No studio lol they put in a sliding glass door and call it one bedroom. Mine was 20k + wifi 1299 + water 450 + electric 7,500

I do like the pool and I had a nice unit but for sure it could be better. I did check out the new place near by called Matina Enclaves. I really liked that one.
@@GiointhePhilippines nice pool when kids are in school. When schools out for two months you will not see a foreigner near it. I got bad ear infection, 3800p.five of my friends left. Several nice condos in town. Security has high turn over. They last about 14 days my buddy got a 250p fine for wearing wet short from pool to unit lol.

It is called a Tabo and normal here. Many Filipinos do baths or showers by using that.

You must be deluded $500 for that, tiny, worn out, starter size TV, TRY Penang, you would get a 100+ sq mt 2 or 3 bed lux app overlooking the beach for $500
