To be clear technically Rimuru did not cast the resurrection, it was Raphael (which is the evolved form of great sage and one of Rimurus ultimate skills) who borrowed Rimurus sleeping body to perform the spell

7:28 I know it’s been 5 months by now, but Great Sage and Words of the World are two different entities. They just share the same voice actor, since GS is essentially WotW Pocket Edition with a personality.
You can actually see the difference between Great Sage and Words of the World visually-they have different symbols that’s represent them.
In this scenario, Great Sage petitions Words of the World, asking for verification on their evolution. Words confirms the evolution, and GS gets started on forcing the evolution.
“Hey Words of the World, can I evolve too?”
“Ok sure”
“Alright I’m gonna try it (fails ad infinitum)”
“Maybe you should get rid of this skill”
“Oh shit that did it thanks”
“You’ve evolved to Raphael, Lord of Wisdom. Congratulations”
One last thing, “Wise One” is the skill that contains “Great Sage.”

Great Sage uses VotW as a medium to communicate with Rimuru, more specifically
Some explanations- the Words of the World is very different from the Great Sage. Everyone in the world can hear the Words of the World. As far as I know, it is a phenomenon which announces stuff like occurances of world changing events, or when anything evolves/learnes a new skill, and grants people who are reincarnated their skills based on their dying thoughts. It was the voice Rimuru heard when he was reincarnating back in season 1 episode 1, announcing the resistances and skills he was learning, and he didn't have the Great Sage skill then. The Great Sage skill based it's voice off of the Words of the World (Basically, Great Sage copied the voice of the Words of the World for its own voice).
What happened was that the Great Sage petetioned to the Words of the World, asking to be evolved.
"Great Sage" called as "Wise One - Great Sage", evolves into "Wisdom King - Raphael" after endless attempts by integrating the " Degenerate" skill into itself.
Well, the other source material says the Great Sage was using the Words of the World to communicate with Rimuru, but yeah, basically. I don't think it was shown in the anime (cut content, aye...), but there was a moment when the Orc Lord was evolving into the Orc Disaster when the Words of the World announced his evolution, and Rimuru got confused for a moment before realizing it was the Words, and not Great Sage speaking that time.

The demon is that guy in the OVA who fought Shizu.

I've seen lots of reactors comment that Rimuru's slime body seems darker now, but that's just the color he is when he's in "sleep mode". It's the same color he became after naming all the goblins/direwolves (and later the ogres).

Don't worry. The Demon is literally faithful and loyal to Rimuru. There is a part where they will show the point of view of Black why he is so loyal to Rimuru. He's my favorite in the whole series.
The girl that received the spirit from the future loves Rimuru and so does the spirit. Remember the spirit kissed him? I think it is the spirit of the hero that sealed Valdora, which is why he (Valdora) reacted to it and to the girl once the spirit was in her.

So just to clear some details up, they say that Millim was 10x stronger than Rimuru when they first met and she wasn’t even being serious, meaning that Millim is still stronger, but the gap is much much closer. Then in the manga, Black was actually referring to the spirit not Razen being too young, as it would take a spirit of considerable age and experience to fight him.
That logic is flawed. We do not know how much stronger Rimiru has become to compare him with any other Demon Lord. Maybe he's grown 10x stronger, maybe 30x, maybe 50x. It hasn't been stated so no comparisons can be made yet. Making assumptions based on his old form is a flawed calculation.

Like how in the anime he sliced the king’s arm with Megiddo, and manga he cut off the king’s arm with his sword and explained that he used black flame to stop the bleeding.

@@ayuwoki428 He should be a match for Milim for sure. The problem is that Great Sage notes when Rimuru first meets Milim, that Milim has 10x as many magicules as him, but that she wasn’t even being serious yet.

Just a quick clarification Roshi. Technically, the system of the world is managed & administrated by "The Voice of the World" while Great Sage, now Lord of Wisdom Raphael, is a skill specific to Rimuru. The voices sounded the same in those scenes, but it was actually the World talking to Rimuru's gang and then Great Sage was petitioning to the World for evolution.

Relax, Black is loyal to Rimuru throughout the whole series in the LN. Later, honored by Rimuru, he will evolve to the same class as Rimuru (Demon Lord Class), but he did not berserk or lose control and obey Rimuru as usual. I can say he is one of Rimuru's most loyal and closest subordinates in Tempest.

the last part when Rimuru's eyes were red wasn't rimuru, it was The Great Sage.

Just so people aren't as confused, great sage and wise one are the same thing. Wise one is just what the words of the world (the voice that everyone can on the planet can hear when they get or evolve a skill) calls great sage. So great sage/wise one doesn't exist anymore, shes now wisdom lord Raphael
@@cadak1 That... that's not a spoiler. It's literally mentioned this episode that the Unique Skill "Wise One" evolved into the Ultimate Skill "Raphael - Lord of Wisdom". It's not explicitly stated but is so clearly implied it might as well be, that Great Sage within the system in charge of the skills and stuff is known as the Unique Skill "Wise One", so Great Sage and Wise One are the exact same.

Resistance is different from nullification. He can still be hurt by things he resists, he just gets hurt a lot less by them, as apposed to nullification which blocks it outright.

yea no sufering but i am desapointed they dont show the father who talk to Rimuru one of them was not a total jerk but totaly accept diing! Shogo take a harder beating in the manga ... They cant show that in the anime but it was cool!
I know he makes them suffer in the light novel. He deliberately aims for non-vital areas like arms and legs in order to create screams and panic. It makes more sense because seeing your friend trying to crawl away after losing both his legs while screaming will probably break your will to fight more than just seeing him drop dead on the spot.

That was in the Light Novel, rimuru didn't only go for kill shots, but also puncturing lungs and chopping off limbs.

also he has nullification types and resistance type skills. resistance does not mean he cant be hurt just a lot less. and someone mentioned it but the worlds words is not the same as great sage. just a miny version for his personal assistance that can interact with the worlds words

Just for clarification rimuru didn't set the king's arm on fire he actually used black flames on his arm after cutting it to avoid him dying from blood loss since he wanted to keep him alive.

The 'Wise One' or 'Great Sage' ability that Rimuru had to begin with, evolved into Raphael. Raphael is the embodiment of that evolved 'Great Sage' skill. I think that the 'Great Sage' skill (before it evolves into Raphael) is asking the 'Words of the World' (i.e., the laws of the world) if it can be given permission to evolve. It fails so many times that it succeeds, way longer than you see in the anime. For those worried about Raphael taking over Rimuru's body forever, that's probably impossible. Raphael is a skill Rimuru has, in other words, Rimuru owns Raphael. That's what I think, at least.

Something i thought of is with rimiru's upgraded analysis with raphael and upgraded absorption from beelsebub he can finally analyse and absorb the barrier around veldora and with the title of next weeks episode being "the one unleashed" I think thats whats gonna happen next.
Its understandable that everyone misunderstood about RImuru having red eyes. I think in the next ep, everyone will know that wasn't Rimuru but Raphael instead using Rimuru's body.

I'll provide some info here without spoiler. Just to clear out the confusion.
Great Sage and Words of the World are different from each other. They just have the same voice since Great Sage needed a voice to talk to Rimuru-sama. So, in that process, she uses the WoW voice to talk to him hence the confusion due to similar voice. But you can differentiate it by noticing the background of these two entities [WoW has an earth on the background whilst GS has a siri/google-like background.]
Furthermore, WoW basically just announces to individual if they got nvew skills, if they evolve or in this episode to address all the subjects of Rimuru for notification and update. Great Sage on the other hand acts as a personal assistant to Rimuru.
To add, Great Sage basically was not included in evolution - though she suggest herself to Voice of the World to be upgraded and it takes multiple trials but fails continuously until she proposed to sacrifice Degenerate to evolve into Raphael. Then Raphael is the one who's speaking through Rimuru-sama while performing the ritual. Additionally, the sacrificed skills are not literally sacrificed it was like integrated to form a new one. So Raphael is more likely a Degenerate+Great Sage but optimized.
