If you are referring to the mini cleaning cycles that happen approximately 1x per day those typically are programmed in to always run - I don't know of a way to turn them on / off in that model - make sure that your ink type setting is correct in your machine to match the ink type that you are running
Any Roland printer cutter will allow you to use the cut only function to cut vinyls including heat transfer vinyl. They will also allow for print only functions or print and then cut

Can you run heat transfer vinyl through these and only use the cutting system if needed? Or do you HAVE to print on media then cut?
