If you remember, we had corals in the 4400 loved the look, the internet hated it. I changed it. Not this time. Just for the simple fact of the them being on tanked it's a conversation piece and they look amazin lol. Thanks for the kind words

I love the cichlids tank just the way it is, when I look at it it looks like a salt water tank. I love the unobstructed view that you get it the whole tank wouldn’t the wood in the front block that? IMO it looks perfect now❤️

I was thinking coral and cichlids together ahhhh nope but honestly the colour combination is Stuuunning. You don't know where to look next 👀. Purists in the hobby might not agree but does it matter.Great work OFR. 🙂

I wonder if that is the biggest Cichlid tank in the US LOL. The tanks look great.
Hopefully you guys don't beat me up too bad when you see the Tenacor 900 Saltwater tank (10 x 3 x 4 tall) for the first time, it also has a massive coral insert that wraps around two center island overflows. It is absolutely jaw dropping and would be a crime to cut out. This particular tank will be a FOWLR setup/system. Josh's statements on the inserts being dropped in first and then the top being welded on later are correct as the coral insert are large and heavy. Stay tuned to my channel as part one is coming up on this build-out. As far as OFR and these two tanks, the main objective is to house fish that have been rescued until they are relocated. The corals inserts will provide hundreds of areas to hide, breed, and maintain different social interactions with others, so in OFR's defense, they are not really show tanks as they are more intended for temporary housing.
I think these tanks should have a water bridge to link them together. The Malwai Cichlids are the perfect choice for a fresh saltwater looking tank. Good job OFR!

Wow...just WOW! It looks amazing. My favorite coral is the left tank, all the way to the right. The purples really pop, but I love the ones that are shaped like rainbows too. It's just beautiful... and if you look really close at the fish, you can see tiny little grins on their faces
Beautiful Malawi Cichlids... Definitely giving them the Lake Malawi experience with that big tank.

Thoughts about raising funds for the rescue. You could set up cameras and live steam your tanks on pateron.. also! A few underwater cameras in the pond would be awesome

I think the coral looks awesome I've always thought cichlids looked like salt water fish. Can't wait to see the other fish in the lost at sea tank I had two silver sharks years ago seeing the home your giving yours is just awesome. Keep up the good work Josh your doing awesome. 👍

Wow! It's so beautiful! I thought it was one big tank and wondering why you were saying tanks and then I saw where they seperated.
It looks great. An African cichlid tank that looks like a saltwater tank without all the work of a saltwater tank. Don't go too crazy with the additional decorations, though. Keep it looking more like a reef tank--don't get it too cluttered.

Wow! That cichlid tank is gorgeous! I love the addition of the logs and the flowing green plants. The bubbles look amazing and it was neat how you also explained how they help with water movement. Thanks Rob Walton for the lights! I could stare at that tank for hours as well! Set up a hammock in there and take a nap! You guys deserve it!

The sevrum's tank is nice (and no doubt will end up looking good)....but oh baby look at that african cichlid tank!!!! As stated in the comment below mine, they are a perfect match for the coral inserts!! Love the the hiding spots too, from the added fake wood and rocks.

For those that are intimidated by a salt water tank this is an awesome idea ocean look but fresh water tank
I'm not a fan of the extra stuff you've added in to decorate the cichlid tank but won't give you grief on it because it's *your* taste that should be satisfied first and foremost, guys. A couple more of the tall grassy plants would be cool though. I'd say a hard pass too on the schlocky pirate ship stuff in a major centerpiece display like this 1800g. Maybe save that for a smaller fun tank.
Just opinions though, don't stress about trying to please random comments. It's a great project and you're getting it done. Stay Fishy.
They can’t take the coral out. It’s too large to get through the top since it was put inside after the top was already sealed down.
@@PSPplayer17 Try and pay attention, my friend. I was talking about the "extra stuff" added in this update NOT THE CORAL INSERTS which have been obviously inside the tanks since they bought them.
I was busy shooting down many anti-coral gripes in the previous two updates because I felt it was silly and unfair to OFR that fans were giving them grief about that.

You guys that are hating on the tanks realize how small those tanks holes are right? They would have to cut them in half, take them out and they’d never be able to get something that big in the tank again. They’re beautiful .. pictures/ videos don’t do it any justice!😍👏🏻

Coming along nicely. Add some synodontis catfish in African tank. Quick compliment; I likely the flow of your videos. Have watched videos on OFR and by you guys for ever and have preferred yours. The natural enthusiasm that you have is genuine. Hate watching some people who are acting so excited about something that it seems or is fake. Also it's nice to look around from your point of view not at you blocking the view. That only works if you're female , hot and wearing very little. Which gets old pretty quick. Those yellow Labs will be having babies pretty soon.

I love the passion and massive effort and charity that has/have gone into this channel. I would like to say though, my experience of freshwater and marine fish tells me bubble curtains freak! them out in every way. I'm aware of the benefits of circulation but its out weighed by the stress level. Love and prayers to you and the family sir!
