How about putting those couches in front of the stair railing in the pond area someone could jump on the couches and the could tip back into the pool

You can get a small palstic storage bin and drill holes in the sides so the baby rays food doesn’t sink out of the bottom.
There are perfect Dollar Tree slotted mini baskets around with regular bottoms. I've seen other channels rig them up for this purpose. Can zip tie pool noodle segments to the handles / rims as flotation and tether a raft of 3 or 4 in place wherever you want or just use the same long rod.

Not a good idea to move DH tank to storage area. Dismantle the tank and use it for parts.

Once you expand the Barn can you put all the storage there. Have.pool room just tanks. Remove the tanks in front of indoor pond that are hardly accesible and viewable and add tanks behind it where storage was. ? Be nice see large.tanks there
Put a plastic sheet on the bottom of the baby ray basket , this will keep food in and can be removed for cleaning. 😊
Needs to be a tray or else the rays swimming will still push food off the sides

I'm glad you addressed that because I was going to say the same thing how are you going to feed them with the holes in the bottom.. and there's not a guarantee they're all going to be albino unless the father's.a het and even then..

Id gift the DH tank if I were Rich and Josh, it just doesn't work as a tank for them. Its so specialised in its set up that it needs a specialised owner.

The thing about the Monster Pond is that with the videos they are more accessible than in an aquarium, you can sett how much bigger er they're getting and how they're changing colours as they grow. People just don't have fish this big, thanks for the education, I learn something every video, SFMF!
why not just empty and reseal the dogbone tank where it sits?
It's not a structurally sound tank shape. It was custom made for some store as a feature centrepiece IIRC. OFR has been constantly patching the joints just like with those other matching oddball ones they finally got rid of a year or so ago. It's so delicate now that IMO moving it will need an inner 1-by wooden skeleton side to side for support to keep the panels from collapsing under its own weight during a tilt sideways - lift and carry.
To reclaim the OFR floor space for a big new tank, I've suggested moving a shallow tank (this is the only one left out of the three) into the pool pond's shallow end on (metal) stilts like an overhanging cantilevered balcony. There it can still be a petting pool for mascot Hubert and also a see-thru / smell-thru temp isolation room for any future "rival" additions to the pool pond like Seals. It'll be on "the system" plumbing but minor seam leakage will become a useful flow-through feature not an issue for emergency.
Hubert deserves the safety and some reasonable swimming room - maybe not as much as The Dog-bone gives but you make the best use of what you already own.

hey rich instead of replacing the tray what you can do is get some of the carbon fiber window screen place it on the bottom and crazy glue it over the holes you need to do one sheet on the top or one sheet on the bottom and that'll keep any food inside or at least it should but one of the crazy glue around each of the holes to make sure that everything stays on properly but that's a cheaper way to do it than to replace the entire basket and drill new holes and it's easier thing to do also but try it or not you know it's a way of salvaging that piece of plastic tub instead of having to like throw it away or use it for something else later this way you can still use it for something else later with the mesh on And it still will work for baby rays.

Please just throw the dwyte howered tank in the trash smash it up, it's a monstrosity, you got it for free, it's the biggest waste of space, sorry but just waiting to get paid for it is hurting the rescue. You could have had the salt water tank months ago. Even if you gave it away for free it will cost someone hundreds or thousands to transport it. This is been going on for like 2 years.
They can gut it and make it fish ready instead of throwing it away.
@@wadehiggins1114 no they can't, they can only use the front lower section for fish. And it only holds a small amount of water. To get the tank full of water would cost them thousands. It's a no go tank, it's a complete fail, I don't understand why they are holding on to it. Is it money they want that bad? I really don't get it.
It's a shame they are not nearer snake discovery,just think what they could do with the tank.
Give The the Dwyte tank to the reptierium in Michigan you dont need it it’s meant to hold big snakes
