We have 2 static IP's - Do I need to setup a pfSense router ahead of the USG- or is the WAN2 port pictured on the device robust enough for NAT routing to our two web servers?
i think I'm on a newer version of the unifi controller 6.4.54 but it seems when i click on networks and try and configure something basic like change the gateway address i just don't see the options

Hi There can the controller be used on an android os instead of Mac windows or Linux?? I won't have a PC running all the time but I will have an Android device running all the time
I'm not familiar with an option to install the controller on Android. If you are looking for a budget controller you can install it on a Raspberry Pi computer.

you have to set the UNIFI parameters to refresh every 15 secs, and to enable the refresh button. :)

Can we use public IP there? and can we ping that public IP from outside network?
Not sure which part you are referring to. You can set the public IP on the USG. Ping for the public IP (WAN interface) is disabled by default. This page gives instructions on enabling it: help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003146787-UniFi-USG-Firewall-How-to-Enable-ICMP-on-the-WAN-Interface
How to block website using USG?
i set one of these up and passed the login credentials to the 'new tech guy'. the 'new tech guy' is no longer here but i need to get into the router. is there an easy way to reset access?
I don't know of a way to reset access without resetting the whole device.

can it be used as AP controller?
Unfortunately no. You can a Ubiquiti hardware controller, or run the controller on a PC, Mac or Linux system. You can also run it in Docker which is what I do.
why bother?
Using a device like a USG allows you to share an internet connect amongst multiple computers. This also keeps people on the interest from directly connecting to the computers on your network.
What a waste of time. This video should be called clicking through the menus and stating the obvious.... I thought there might be something useful because of the title bit wanted my time with this one.
Thanks for the input. I apologize for that. I certainly don't want to mislead people and waste their time. Would the title be more clear if I changed it from "Setup" to "Basic Setup"? Also, is there a specific topic or topics you would have liked covered?
Some people, even technically inclined like myself, enjoy a guide like this just to make sure they're hitting all the right buttons and not missing any steps, etc. This video was quite helpful, actually.
