Nice work, mine are constructed almost the same but my last veneer on the face is a 1/16" veneer, helps hide the raw edge. Works good for stained hoods too.
Man I'm having to build one this morning for the first time. Thing that's worrying me is how to come up with my curves. Hopefully you give some insight lol
Looks nice! Getting ready to build one of these. Is it necessary to have 2 layers of 1/4 plywood? What type of plywood is that? Also what do you do to seal the end grain on the edges for paint? Also, how do gain access (ie: hooking up vent pipe or unplug?)
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Kian Nicolas i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
The edges were still showing, we did add bondo and sanded it down since it was a paint top. Couldn’t tell after a couple of coats of primer and sanding in between 👌
Freedom lover The ones I’ve installed the blower is connected to the grill vent along with light and blower buttons, not sure how the blower is in the attic, but alright.
South Carolina I subscribed to your channel so you can post a video of your work. Once you post it, I will share the link here so everyone can marvel at your work 👌. Can’t wait to see you in action.

Rad stuff. This is a good way of building up that curve, and strengthening it. Kinda want to make a bell shaped skateboard obstacle now.
larry thomas Thanks Larry, you, lots of glue and staples 👌. A bell shaped skateboard obstacle would be awesome!!
Nice shop!
Fantastic work.
sanchezfrank Thanks Frank! It’s a pain to keep up though 🤣
I'm about to do that one this week!!
Nice work!
Thanks! About to post a beam making video!
how do you hide raw edges if you plan on staining it?
So you are concerned about your hearing but not your vision?
Nice job but unfortunately I had to watch it muted because the music was annoying AF. Still gave you a like though.

@Kian Nicolas It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you really help me out!
@Jadiel Spencer happy to help :)
Do you still have raw 1/4” edges showing on the miter? Bondo and sanding then paint should take care of it right?

I’m building one for a customer right now.
Freedom lover Nice!
On 5:16 what is the name of the tool you used?
What’s up! It’s just a Makita cordless router with a flush bit. It has a bearing on the end that rides along a bottom surface. Easy to use
A lot of these guys do nice hoods but I don’t think half of them will be able to fit a blower in them.. good job though
Eric Mendez Thanks Eric, definitely happy with this approach, the install was flawless. 👌
The blower goes in the attic

I do this type work everyday and that's a pretty ass backwards way of doing it
