The mystery figures were made by a now defunct company in Australia called Gun-Ho, 15/20 years ago. They were 6th Cavalry designed to fight the Apache they also produced. The company also made Vietnam war Australians and NVA / VC. The latter are available, 3D printed from Steve Weston.

I remember Gung Ho! I bought those figures sometime in the 90's? I thought at the time that they were made in Australia? Thank you so much for reminding me of that!.

I want to thank you for reminding me about Gung Ho. In my hobby journal I have it listed as April 19 2006. I never bought Any others and totally forgot about them. I did mention Gung Ho in my video but felt uncertain about it. Cheers!

I've not seen that mystery set before. But those figures do look quite good. Surprised you don't have the 7th Cavalry figures made by Waterloo 1815 - includes Custer!

Very nice collection of 7th Cavalry. I'm not sure who that mystery set is made by. If I had to guess it's probably some Hong Kong Airfix knockoffs. Take care of that blood sugar levels, Brother! Cheers!

Adding to what another chap said about the airfix they were one of the later figures in the production run along side the cowboys and indian sets but think they only came with four mounted where as the cavalry had six, belive they were sculpted by the same bloke who did the britains detail wild west range, sorry to hear about your high blood sugar readings,im diabetic and have been in hospital a couple of times with d.k.a. systems since my triple bypass a month ago my blood sugars have stopped below 10 on the uk scale where as before my machine goes up to 30 and id be past thay some days, watching what i eat more but the morel is get a heart bypass and everything works again😂

Wow! A triple bypass is pretty serious procedure to undergo! I am very glad that things seem to get better. Diabetes is simply awful and I'm sorry that you must go through that too. Toy Soldiers are a nice diversion from the many things that we must suffer through.

The guy pointing, holding his pistol could be escorting the walking guy to the brig! Move! Rebel Scum!

  • @iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092

I think it is interesting that Imperial soldiers set weapons on stun and are willing to take prisoners. The rebels, on the other hand, always kill, so who are the bad guys? "Rebel scum" made me think of that

I had the 12 figure,6 horses 1/32 scaleAirfix 7th cavalry set from the mid to late 70's where the troopers & saddles were moulded in a amost butternut yellow colour?,& the horses in grey,so those figure poses are very familiar indeed, you should watch a guy on here that goes under the name toysoldiernostalgia iggy?,he is dutch I think?,he mostly does 1/32 scale WW2 figure sets he collects,he does some interesting videos on italian toy manufactuers going back to the 1960's that have odd sizes & poses etc.,he also does Swoppett,Timpo,Britains deetail & Cresent, medievil knights & castles sets, cowboys & Indians & figures too,I will try & send you the link for his channel if you don't already know about him? czcams.com/video/aPJY1GgI9Qw/video.html

Thanks Malcom. I looked up the Swedish guy (very good English). We share a similar style and started at around the same time. The big difference is he has nearly 5,000 subscribers and I'm struggling to reach 500. I guess I must reevaluate what I'm doing wrong. I feel pretty discouraged.
