Back in 2016, the same competition took place at the gym in Sekere. They call it Talent Search. My daughter composed her own song and she sang solo with her ukulele. The first price went to a group of about 10 students that sang an old Pohnpeian song while someone was playing the keyboard.
Talking about Talent Search, i was disappointed about the results from the Judges. Favoritism should not apply in the school activities. It only demoralized and separate our you generations. Which is the opposite of the intent of such activity.
