In todays Retrobat setup guide, I am going to show you how to setup the amazing emulator Daphne which emulates Laser/lazer disc Arcade games and can render them up to 4k resolution. I am also going to go through some settings as well as providing advice of which video settings you might be best suited with using. Please do not ask for any files or where to get games.

Haha no worries. You asked for it on the live stream too I believe?
This has apparently been changed in the new update [woud not recognize bin files undr the emulator directory], you still have to put the files in two locations, but everything stays in the roms folder now. So game.daphne folder reamins roms/daphne/roms/game.daphne, and the other location is roms/daphne/roms/roms for the bin files and zips.

Can you do a retrobat Hypseus Singe setup for daphne games? I hear it supports bezels and works way better then Daphne.

I must be doing something wrong here. You went kind of fast. What I have is a zip file and the video files (game) that you would generally toss into dafne. For the first part, are you extracting what’s in the zip files and putting them in that roms folder? Also, when I opened the emulator it didn’t create a roms folder. It’s like when I followed this, only half the stuff happened.

@@JustJamie1983 yeah- I added . Bin to my names and was able to follow the tutorial, but I’m still getting an emulation failure to launch error. lol Daphne every time. I was able to get the stuff to run straight through external Daphne, but it’s refusing to run through bat.

@@JustJamie1983I figured how to play these games in Android after all. Would you know a good source to find more info about Time Gal? Google isn’t providing all that’s needed.
