It's such an amazing build already & we're just getting started. It was a first if its kind 90 years ago, & we're excited to keep that tradition of firsts going!

Is that Cord sitting on a factory frame? I cant wait to see the transformation of this project!

Yes, came in fully restored. It is going to be a bit of a process not to damage the original parts. Trying to make this as bolt in as possible so it can go back to original if the owner ever changes his mind.

If the engine is pristine it is desecration if it is not repairable then you are right I just hope they sell the engine to some one who would enjoy it.

@@jonathancunningham8739 Yes. Those Lycoming engines were lovely. I believe it would be fun to try to rebuild the engine...if it's available...to a museum-quality cosmetic standard so that it can be displayed on a nice, sturdy, permanent stand near this car. Lycoming is still here making excellent engines for aircraft and stuff, and a retired one makes superb industrial art.

@@jimcabezola3051Exactly that or sell it to a vintage car owner who would love to use it in a restoration either option is better the a junk yard for these rare pieces of history.

What a teal beauty. I can't wait to see it wafting along silently. Hopefully the engine can go to some other restorer who wants a Cord engine.

They have preserved the original engine and are going to hold on to it for now.
