How much is house /flood insurance in Florida ? I know it's high. Surprised at low pricing, old trailer and 1 acre was going for over $110k here in NE Ga.

Hi Susan, How do you find mobiles wherein one can buy the land underneath? Coops?

Hi Susan. Do they elevate the house because of flooding or some other reason? Love the presentations!

Hi Susan, love your channel, your enthusiasm, and your content. I have a question for you. I don't know if your a realtor in florida or not, either way you may have this knowledge. Can you tell me if you can buy property 2-10 acres and put a mobile home on there yourself? The price for the land maybe a lot cheaper, but I'd have to find a mobile home and hook up to electric$?/water$?/sewer$? or perhaps there might be an alternative to these. I'm trying to eliminate "monthly bills" and live simply. Or maybe its just as inexpensive buying a mobile home with land that you've suggested. Any suggestions would be awesome! TIA

Hello, you can certainly buy a parcel of land to place a MH on it and connect it to utilities. It will depend on the county and their rules for Manufactured Housing however. The same can be said for placing a Tiny Home on a parcel. Some Counties allow for it, some do not. You're on the right track, find the land, (acreage/land price will vary depending on where the land is) and, perhaps you will locate an Older MH that needs renovated that you can have transported to your parcel. There's a cost to moving/transporting that home, but, it may be less than buying a new model. And, as we've seen on this channel, there are many MH's that need rehabbing. If you want to purchase new, there's that option too. Good Luck and Thank You for tuning in to the channel. Cheers!! ☕️
