I’m absolutely delighted for Ange! 🇦🇺 In my lifetime I’ve never seen a manager take hold of a club so quickly (I don’t just mean Celtic), within his first few months at Celtic he became a cult hero and two years later he left a club legend! Everything and I mean EVERYTHING about him was just different to any other manager I’d seen; his tactics and style of play, his incredible finds in the transfer market, the way he conducted himself around the club and in interviews, the quotes and the mentality/outlook on life he had. I got torn to shreds for saying it but towards the end of his time at Celtic I said he was top ten (maybe even top five) managers in the world and only now is he finally getting the credit for it. Absolute legend! He’ll always be a Celt at heart! 🇦🇺🍀👑
One of the most telling things is that so many Rangers fans of all people (like myself) really like him as well. I'm glad he's gone because he was tremendous but saddened at the same time because he's left our league. I'll be following him closely and would love to see him do amazing things at Spurs.
As a Rangers fan I am delighted he's gone, he was far too good for us to compete with 😂
I said he was Top 5 in the world after the Rangers SF last season and a few told me to lay off the glue.
I thought as long as he had a few decent results early on, you could pretty much guarantee he'd be very popular down there with the attacking style, and the fact that no other English-speaking manager in the league can hold a candle to this man's charisma. The few with more appeal aren't even in the same league as him in terms of their mastery of the English language either.

We produce the best coaches of any country in sports and it’s because regular Aussie blokes aren’t insecure around high achievers. It’s who you are not what you’ve done that counts. It’s why our celebrities who grew up here are all grounded.
What a guy big ange is people. A swear he is the man. Rangers won the league by 19 points he come in and we won the league the next year by 4 points. That was unbelievable to us celtic fans. We genuinely thought it would take 2 years to build a team to challenge then but the magic man come and smashed it. He got rid of the baggage invested in players from the j league and made us great again. Spurs have a gem. You’ll see over the next two years. His recruitment was the best Celtic has had for 8 years.
