- Hey y'all I thought I'd do another review of the quite wonderful Gretsch Electromatic Tri-Five 😍
It's a Seriously gorgeous guitar. If Your unsure don't be I can't tell you how much I love them.
I'm going through a tone bone ABY into a Fender Deluxe Tone master. And a 74 Fender Twin. The ABY has an outlet for a tuner. I'm using this to run A champion 600 into a Bugera 2 by 12 cab. The Champ Cab has a Mic into A vintage Selmer. 😅

I like your playing, some of your riffs reminded me of my favorite band Calexico (he plays an Airline with a bigsby, the sound is a bit similar).

Just found your channel and have subscribed - love your playing! Bought myself a Gretsch 5420 a couple of weeks back... fabulous. Previously had a Telecaster HH, no character at all, the 5420 beats it on all counts.

Hi Kevin I replied so not sure if you read it. It's a nickel plated brass rocking bar bridge, I got mine from Thoman, perhaps not as good as the Compton or Tru-Arc but over half the price. They get the job done 😎👍✨

Hi Kevin no worries, it's a rocking bar bridge, nickel plated brass. I got it from Thoman they come with a wooden bass which is superfluous as the bridge bass is already fixed. The are really good and a lot cheaper than Tru-Arc and Compton. Both those are really well engineered. In my opinion they are much better than the tunomatic. Have a great weekend 👍😎
