I would vote for the politician or a party, who gives more importance to improving existing infrastructure, road connectivity across all the villages , encouraging startups, quality Education, creating more jobs, safety and security of all human beings. last but not least MAKE IN INDIA. Other issues aren't so important for me as an educated voter. I will vote for the right party. 😀😀😀Namma Bengaluru. Jai Karnataka.

In Tamil Nadu nobody can own a place naming it as Bhramin's cafe this will be taken as that they are establishing their superiority by caste. 0:51
But you will find Nadar, Chetti, Pillai, Gounder, Thevar, etc. As well as Iyengar and more rarely Iyer. Even if your comment is true. Caste neutrality appeasement isn't present in Tamil Nadu. Secretly and hidden, but spicy issues are the caste politics and caste sentiments in TN.
Compared to us, Karnataka doesn't seem to be so casteistic (outside of caste-based voting bulk).
It is very wrong practice to name any shop on the caste irrespective of state.

Software engineer hit the nail in the head. Divide is not between North and the South, divide is between Urban and Rural India. In India we immediately associate Urban area as educated, cultured etc and rural area as uncultured, poor, non Hygenic etc. In so many instances it's not even real but stereotype is there, and we can feel it in many places how there is class divide. People always say there is caste divide, but in reality it is the class divide.
Although there is no division between north and south but people like Barkha Dutt are trying to create north south divide.
