Mmm… I bought a used trailer and had a broken propane/12v fridge… I thought of fixing it or replacing it and when I pulled it out there was a HUGE mice nest behind😨 removed fridge, sanitized whole camper, made new wall to where fridge was and set up 40qt size 12v compressor cooler😖 got a new shelf and about 1/3 fridge capacity…
Btw, love that happy puppy chase at the end of the video!😂

That's crazy, mice can really wreck a rv. I'm glad you were able to fix it.

It's a fridge. Don't think so hard. Pre-cooling is pointless unless you're traveling five minutes from home. Prior to trip, put your cold and frozen in the fridge. Augment the cold with frozen half-gallon milk jugs or frozen baggies of water. Rotate from fridge to freezer. Propane is quicker and more efficient at cooling. Your results may vary.

Leaving propane on for your R.V. fridge while driving short or long distance is absolutely not a good idea (that is what your D.C. power is for)

I have always wondered how power tools in a RV work. And excuse me, bathroom . I can't follow you (except Discord) because I don't use a social media. (Have you heard of discord before? A youtuber I followed had opened a discord server to communicate with his followers. If you have such an event, I would like to participate) And ofcourse thanks for your good explantions about fridge)

Question, I just got a new camper. Are you supposed to hear the fridge run? I put it on gas mode. The (gas) light is on so I think it's on. But it's not making any noise unless I shut it off you can hear a quiet click.

Hey Melinda it may have some sound when running on electric but probably not to much on gas. Hope that helps

Our dometic fridge will cool on electricity, but when switched to gas it won't. We're level, switches are in the correct position, and pilot is lit. Any ideas what might be wrong?
