Joyner is right. He aint underrated he's still on the come up. These days there's no artist development. We give these folks no time. They either at the pinnacle when they first drop or they not. Most of us first heard joyner because of the im not racist video or the freestyle mixes. Still a relatively new artist to the masses. I've always said that too. He's one of my favorite artists when it comes to rap. (Im a metal guy) but he definitely has his market. Unfortunately in my experience. The real artists who come from a real place have to work harder than anyone. He won't sell out. He won't get ghost writers.

From the first time I ever heard Joyner, I instantly loved his music. He's so different from these young kids today. Honestly, I couldn't really care less about meeting some of these people, but I would LOVE to sit down with Joyner and pick his brain. Joyner's take on being underrated is how I am with myself in general. And I love hearing this. More artists should think like this. Every situation is obviously different but if people focused on what they could do instead of blame others and point the finger and do nothing, just try something different. Being more visible doesn't mean selling out. Sometimes it can just be marketing. Once you get the fan base and it's growing steadily, it doesn't matter. The recognition will come. Keep at it with the amazing work and it'll come. But be open to change too.
