It lets you set the output to 1080p but the actual game renders frames at like 480 or 720p and stretches them, which is shit. Mods let you unlock it so the game renders at the native 1080p ro whatever your monitor is.
To be fair, he didn't say 1920x1080 was low, he just said it wasn't high. Given that 1080p is pretty much the standard right now, I'd argue it's neither low nor high, just average.

Perhaps this version of humanity has figured out how to do something like that with the human mind? All of the bosses which talk after dying are cyborg in some way, I think.
It's nanocommunication, same way the Codec works. Their brains are intact, so they've got just enough time with their internal life support systems to send that last codec call before it shuts down due to a lack of a power source and they die.

Monsoon's words becoming unintelligible as the camera pans away to show how far away he is from Raiden is such a subtle but hilarious gag. Everything happens so quickly that I didn't catch it on my first watch-through.

@@nielsjensen4185 The war inofficielly started in 2014, but the full invasion was in February. This video was made months before the invasion where the "common opinion" was that it was a large scale exercise meant to scare Ukraine away from joining nato or getting close to the west. Also to cement the hold on crimea and finally officially go public with them saying that Luhansk, Donbass, etc were independent.
Also at this point in time, the US was not providing weapons to Ukraine (they were but still). But I do see your point, wait like 6 months and this comment won't be necessary ;)
@@SatansOps they were though. they were helping and funding the far right in ukraine after the US backed coup against the people in the donbass. there was even a leaked phone call of victoria nuland where she told them what president they should choose. they literally admitted it numerous times, and their justification for it was, quote: "the united states aids ukraine and her people, so that we can fight russia over there and we don't have to fight russia here". this was way before the russian invasion of ukraine. before the US backed coup, the majority of ukranians had a positive view on russia, that started to drop drastically the years going on after. they literally banned many left political parties, and now have taken away many workers' rights.
the UN did two reports on the war crimes commited against donbass, with casualties heavily on the donbass side that were being shelled by far right extremists with heavy civillian casualties. the majority of people in the donbass are very economically left wing/socialist, and are russian ethnically (the area used to be a part of russia and was gifted to ukraine during the soviet union). the far right extremists wanted to eradicate the donbass on that basis. but MOST ukranians are not like that, this is the result of US funded far right extremist groups being in power. literally zelenskyy was voted in because he campaigned to bring peace to the donbass and follow the minsk agreements. most ukranians wanted peace. this never happened when he went into power.
and of course russia is wrong for invading. of course putin is right wing and betrayed the workers when he made tons of money from selling off russia's state owned assets. i am just saying, that this video aged very well. all western news talked negatively about ukraine bombing the donbass before the invasion. just watch any bbc report pre invasion about the donbass and the far right groups in ukraine, the corruption that started happening. putin should have known better than to follow the US bait to invade, and now this whole situation is a mess. but i remember years ago even talking about it with my friends, wondering what the US was wanting to achieve with funding these far right extremists in ukraine. i didn't expect it to be this massive now. it is such a tragedy, both sides are pitting the other against each other, and not caring about bringng peace when more people die every day. and imagine what is ukraine going to be like economically after so many things have been sold off to rich western billionaires? unless they manage to take back control of that, but then the west would sanction ukraine...
