    i learned the hard way that aggressively pulling back on the collar can cause damage to your dogs throat. my dog wouldn’t eat for a week. luckily he’s good now.

    They are gorgeous and very well trained. I hate the fact that medium and larger built dogs awfully frighten me from childhood getting chastized by them. Smaller ones are better but still dont want them sniffing or licking me lol... no matter how much I come in contact with them as my parents had pet dogs for us. Just A Mess ☺

    Thank you for your vids ! I have a 2 year old rottie and he’s pretty good just needs more behavioral training outdoors .. he had surgery last year so that’s really put a dent in his training. Now that’s he’s back healthy this year I want to get him back consistent. 🤗 do you suggest a training leash? He currently has a harness ..

    I’m not sure how old your Rottweilers are but mine is coming up on being a year old (male) and I have a tough time walking him because he pulls so much and jumps. Would your methods still work on him being already a year old? Also where did you get the leash for Kott? I’m forever looking for thick leashes for my dog and I can never find anything durable?

    • @kotttherott183
      @kotttherott183  Před 2 měsíci

      Age won’t really matter. 1 year old range is a tough time with Rotties but you might want to use some treats at that age they are gonna want to get paid for sure. And I get my collars from petco the Reddy brand with metal buckles. The leashes I don’t even know where I got those maybe a thrift market.

      @kotttherott183  Před 3 měsíci +1

      For Kott yes I did. He is very good driven. Bird is not food driven at all. She will take a pay on the head 😂

    I hate dogs because here in the UK the vast majority of owners do not train their animals, unlike this gentleman. Consequently, whenever I am out for a walk in my local park I am constantly pestered by out of control dogs running and jumping up at me. Whenever you remonstrate with the owners you get the same moronic response of ‘you shouldn’t come to the park if you don’t like dogs’. This is in addition to the hazards of having to avoid treading in all the dog shit that these irresponsible owners leave behind. If only these people behaved responsibly like the owner in this video, we could all get along.

    why is the tail away from both of them? simply unnecessary for Rottweilers! 🤦🏽‍♂️ It's much more likeable when the tail wags when dogs are happy!
