HeyBike Mars Fat-Tire Offroad eBike Review: Heavyweight Beast Handles Anything

  • The HeyBike Mars is a lot of fun to ride, and those fat tires will easily handle anything from dirt paths and rocky hillsides to your everyday urban streets and grassland. It's technically foldable, but don't plan on carrying it very far without a vehicle. The only downside to such a heavyweight beast of a bike is that it's difficult to ride without the motor assistance, so you keep an eye on the battery to ensure you can make it home again.

    Beautiful scenery!
Regarding the separate battery shipment -- I worked for an airline almost 1,000 years ago and, at the time, most every type of battery was shipped non-passenger freight. Not sure if that's still the case, though. So, the bike may have/most likely shipped in the belly of a passenger jet with the battery shipped peopleless, lol.
Great review, blah blah blah 😀

I work for Nest/Google. Batteries in shipments are a huge headache and I can see it coming separately because of safety concerns. I can't tell you how many times European shipments get bunged up due to batteries.

Yeh, this doesn't normally ship to the UK, so this was probably a special case.

My Heybike arrived damaged. They want to send me the parts, have me buy the tools and fix it myself. I looked up reviews and that's their policy. Good luck if it arrives broken, worst customer service ever.
