People use ASMR for different reasons, but I try to make every video one that you can fall asleep to (you're more than welcome to watch for whatever reason you like though!). I specifically make videos for people who have an overactive mind, adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed. I believe the neurochemicals in all of these mental states look very similar and my style of ASMR aims to bring balance to those neurochemicals. I'm not a neurologist, psychologist, or professional of any medical/science field whatsoever. I just have a lot of experience with stress, anxiety, and adhd so I perceive the world and ASMR through that lens. So, if you like faster asmr with a variety of sounds and triggers in every video, then you should hopefully enjoy these videos... and if you have adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed then I hope you can find relief here.

What is ASMR?
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic (tapping/brushing/whispering) and visual stimulation (hand movements/lights/etc)

Behold! My current feelings and emotions towards this inanimate box, used for holding various small objects, and the soundwaves that are produced whilst gently and repeatedly tapping it with the finger between the middle finger and thumb, are overwhelmingly positive
I strongly believe that the sound vibrations coming from a leather eye glasses holder which is then turned into sound by our ears and brain are very prominent and gratifying.

I would inquire that, perhaps, the sound waves emitted from the object in question due to continued and varied pressure application and removal at a rapid rate upon the object, processed through the auditory cranial nerve and thus throughout the body, indeed creates a euphonious sensation.

Okay but let´s talk about the fact that the effect of invisible cratching or non scratching but pretending to be scratching and then actually scratching or tapping for real is the most tingly thing and even more when you are fully focused on the visuals. I’ve been watching asmr for years and have switched many different time from one type of trigger to the next. Finally found out that slow soft tapping is the best. Or the exact opposite of fast rain like tapping. And I’ve only found a few videos that have given me tingles in the last year or 2. It’s been awhile but this video gave me some intense tingles damn

I keep coming back to this video to fall asleep to only because of the glasses case and I’ve never gotten further. I start the video at 2:00 because of the case and I’ve never seen any of the other triggers

the first video I ever got tingles to. even if it was only a little bit. thank you for helping me open my universe of sonorous experience. it really made me think differently about how sound in general can have great effects on us (in music), besides harmony, melody and rhythm. the timbre of the sound is so impactful.
