    In Europe it is priced 2000 Euros which is too much for a phone that does not have 5G, running 1 years old SOC. It should be around 1400 Euros in order to bring in some sales. It's a good designe but the screen is way to fragile for daily use even with the case on which was a good ideal but it makes transitioning from phone to tablet a little cumbersome. There is a reason why this kind of foldable style hasn't got more attention from other OEMs whom actually want to sell their devices to customers. It is a good concept but nothing more for now.

    Yes, I have always thought the fold out genre of foldable’s was the way to go to get the price down as we have less cameras and displays. So this goes to number one for me. I also feel that it is essential to have a good aspect ratio for the front display as most of us will use that more than 50% of the time, once the folding novelty wears off. So agin the Mate is a much superior design to the Fold, and add no gap and a stronger design for the folding part and less crease due to design choice, this is easily a better phone than the Fold. Obviously the elephant in the room is the software and that will be subjective. For me, as I use iOS mostly, not having Google services is no big deal and not a deal-breaker. If the price of around £1250 is correct then it is priced like the S22U with 256GB and having used HarmonyOS on my Mate 20X I am very impressed.
    This now goes to number 1 ahead of the OPPO Find N.

      The price of this is way more expensive. Overpriced in fact compared to fold 3 with more cameras n display screens.

    • @andyH_England
      @andyH_England Před 2 lety

      @@chrislee4485 They are expensive but so is the Fold3 when launched. Huawei usually do good deals in their UK release with price reductions and freebies along with discounted accessories. I suspect it will be close to the Fold 3 release price when it arrives here.

      Kalau jahanam skrin tu langsung x boleh guna..Jadi hp fold dua screen masih ada advantage kalau skrin utama dlm rosak masih lagi boleh pakai digunakan lagi sebelum kita beli yg baru..Ini jahanam terus kena hantar repair sebab akan effect keseluruhan display kalau rosak

    I still can't throw my money on this... That other half of the screen when it's folded has like 1000% risk of damage.. Like it or not samsungs approach is still much better... small display on the front and open for a bigger screen which is the main reason you buy the fold.

    Camera bar should be the other way around so you can use the primary camera unfolded with no need for a hole pinch, which also gives you a nice bezel to hold unfolded so your hand isn't covering the screen.
    Such a silly design choice.
