News from the Humboldt Forum - prophet sculptures and outdoor seating

Something always changes at the Humboldt Forum. Hence this short video.
The reconstruction of the west side of the Berlin Palace in its historical form is now completed. On March 19th and 20th, 2024, eight prophet figures were placed on the dome balustrade over two days of work.
In the Schlüterhof and around the Humboldt Forum, modern outdoor seating from the Viena brand was set up based on the model of the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, which is intended to invite you to linger.

Man hat aus historischen Bildern eine Vorlage wie schön dieser Platz aussah und mit Grünflächen harmoniert hat. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass man diesen Ort begrünt, anstatt solche "Farbtupfer" zu setzen und es dann Kunst zu nennen.

Ich finde es herrlich, dass das Schloss wieder aufgebaut wurde.
Vorallem das drei Fassaden des Schlosses originalgetreu nachgebaut wurde 👍👍👍

Ich finde es toll das dieses Gebäude wieder erstanden ist ,und auch das man es genau wieder so aufbaut,auch wenn es manche ungern sehen,ich freue mich umso mehr darüber

Mal wieder ein gutes und informatives Video. Es gibt also viel neues in Berlin zu sehen und ich freue mich schon darauf wenn ich mit meinem Sohn ende August in der alten Heimatstadt sind.

Ist wirklich schön geworden. Die roten Dinger sind schon deswegen wichtig, weil die Radler sonst wie Kamikaze quer durch die Fußgängerzone brechen.

Wenigstens hätte man das Canceln der Propheten als Antisemitismus deuten können, so wurde dieser Teil des Schlosses wiederhergestellt. Wunderbar!
