Shawn it has been anywhere between 95-98 up here the last couple of days. Calling for 85 today and around 75 for the weekend.
That is good news for the BRP owners on being able to hook up CarPlay at the house. Good stuff Smoak's!

I haven’t had the chance yet, but many have reported the idling trick works for the battery requirements. And a good WiFi or hotspot connection of course.

I think BRP did itself a great disservice by launching something that really wasn't ready to be launched! That said, it is a major step forward in technology for the Spyder. Now, bring in Android Auto, and get it right the first time! Cheers Shawn! P.S. did you make it to Valcourt at the BRP plant?
I would have to ask BRP if they'll offer a replacement you can buy for older gens and are they going to add android auto or just stick with apple?
The wiring harness, the cluster assembly and controls are completely new for 2024, so backwards compatibility is impossible. Android/Google is the holdup, BRP is 100% ready for Android Auto...

This is non related but I have a question about a 2022 Can Am Ryker Rally? Is there a way to manually reset the "transmission maintenance required" message? I tried reseting it with an OBD which I use on my BMW K1600GT which works just fine, but not so much for the Ryker!

Hi there! I was able to download ACP on my 2024 Spyder RTL (Engine needed to be running) and it seems to function except for 2 issues. The first is that ACP identifies my RTL as a "Ski-Doo" (it also flashed a few messages of Ski-doo during the install process) The second issue is that the voice on any voice interaction (directions, phone calls...Ect) are speaking very slow!!! Sounds like a 78 record playing at 33 for you old timers out there! NOT GOOD!!!! Any idea what that could be???? Ride safe!!

It’s some kind of holdup on Android/google’s end, BRP is ready to roll it out… I’ve heard that Android is no longer supporting the powersports side of things. There are different requirements from automobiles.
