The rash is rosella it happens after a fever 🙏🏻
Came here to say exactly this. Very classic case of Roseola.
That’s what I thought as soon as she mentioned fever earlier than a rash. I have 5 kids .
Neo’s rash and fever could be related to his teething ❤

37:00 You could paint it green, then plant passionfruit around it. The vines are so lush and beautiful almost year round, the flowers are beautiful, with the added benefit of delicious fruit. It grows quickly, spreads a long way, and can be planted in large pots (so you wouldn’t necessarily need to put in a garden bed if you don’t want to).
Or, as another option, see if there’s any local artists willing to paint a mural across it. That could also be beautiful 😊

Love from Montréal Canada 🇨🇦 My grandfather whose no longer with us bought property in Costa Rica 20 years ago and spent his entire retirement there. I grew up visiting him there and as we got older my aunts (his daughters) bought property there as well. This week my mom (his 3rd and youngest daughter), bought a property there. My grandfather passed in 2017 of a stroke in Costa Rica. And our whole family has slowly nourished the seed he planted there. My aunts and grandma now spend half the year there. I’ve visited 4 times (I’m 21 and the youngest of my entire big family). Last time I went I got Pura Vida tattooed in my grandfathers handwriting. It’s impossible to explain the vibes of Costa Rica and the feeling it leaves you with but I love to see anyone embrace it as you both have!! I plan to do the same and one day spend my life there. Thank you for sharing this amazing journey!!
Sounds like Roseola. Kids get it often. It starts with a high fever and maybe diarrhea no other symptoms. Then the fever breaks and they develop little red bumps as a rash.
There isn’t anything to do about it but keep him hydrated and out of the sun for a week.
And away from festivals.
Raya has such a good eye for planning and design, and I know that between the two of you, your property will turn out great!!

I would recommend sitting the container on blocks or piers. The floors are usually oak so that may help you prevent any moisture or insect damage. Can’t wait to see what you do with your land, being in natural resource management I love your idea of biophilic design.

When babies are not feeling well, they just want and need mommy. If there's a product sold there called Aveeno, you should try it for Neo. It's an oatmeal bath he can soak in that's really good for rashes and helps with healing.

Neos laugh such a joy to hear! Containers are so versatile. Just note that if you are storing items in them you need to consider air flow (here in Australia we call them whirlybirds) as they can become ovens and in your climate you could end up with mold situation. I love the idea of growing passion fruit around it. Keep delivering great videos Louis.

Have you seen photos of container houses? They look so cool and you could totally make that work on your property!
I have been loving this series. Having raised three children myself I know how tough teething can be on little ones. You are doing an amazing job and it is reflected in how happy Neo is most of the time.
You can cover the container with wood walls to make it look like a palapa. Or put bamboo around it. You could grow vines on it, fruit or vegetables. So many ways to camouflage it. Have an artist friend use it as a palate and paint it to blend with the natural habitat or something fun! Can't wait to see what you do with it!!

Painting the outside green and the inside white will help it to disappear and make the inside light and bright. Most people I've seen spray it.

Another vlogger was just saying how important it is to grow your own food and teach children where the food comes from. So many city children don’t have the opportunity to experience planting, nurturing the food until harvest. It is a big advantage to having freedom to get out of the city and enjoy country life or island life
I’m loving the longer videos. Seeing you spend time planning where things are going on your land is exiting for what’s going to come. I’m sure the home you build there will be wonderful. You’ve got an amazing spot for it.
Also plenty of people build houses out of shipping containers and make them look like proper homes so there is always the option to clad your workshop so that it looks like a building rather than a metal box.
I'm convinced after watching this far that Neo is 50 percent banana and the rest is a mix up of furrowing eye brows lol he has that down pat and I love it baby giggles. You guys are great

Regarding the container: How about painting it black and fitting some windows framed with brown wooden frames? I think that would make the container an eye catcher. Also it would realy go well with all the green arround your lot.

I think it can be really great eventually. To start definitely paint it a green color. I love the idea of leaning a trellis and gardening around it. I wouldn’t even worry about covering it with bamboo. Just landscaping around it with short and tall plants. Later on you can add windows and a mural.

I enjoy your videos. Great editing job Louis! My suggestion to help beautify the shipping container is to paint some windows on it and attach shutters beside the painted windows. This would soften the boxee look and add charm! :)

The best advice my doctor ever gave me for my children and my granddaughter teething... Find a set of keys you can have anywhere between 5 to 10 keys. Clean them really well, and then give them to the child. And it's literally the equivalent of tenderizing meat. So this way it takes the pressure off of the gums but it doesn't hurt the baby.. literally when I say teething was a breeze. Best thing ever.. You guys are doing absolutely amazing as parents and I love watching how happy and healthy he is

Things he can bite on to help push teeth thru. Lots of mothers around to help you, Louis doing great job editing and getting things done. You are a great team together. Just paint the container.
