Left unsaid in this segment: during the early days of the DP Radio show, Phil would call in every week during football season to offer his betting picks and banter with DP.

Also left unsaid is that there were 3 investors through these betting accounts. That would lead you to the dollar totals. In other words these numbers are not accurate at all! Phil’s stake was 25% of those totals.

Phil’s gambling problems has always been out there. He is friends with Charles Barkley who openly admits in every interview he gambles a lot of $$$ on sports. The difference is that the sports establishment doesn’t like Phil now because of the LIV tour. This is what all establishments do (sports, political, entertainment), is once you don’t conform to their ideology, they will tear you down anyway they can. Mickelson, Aaron Rodgers, Curt Schilling, Kyrie Irving all prime examples.

Partially true. The whistleblower in this case is a renowned sports better, Billy Walters, who feels betrayed by Phil. It’s Billy’s book that has allegedly confirmed Phil’s out of control gambling/betting on the Ryder cup. And Billy is far from the establishment, given that he’s served time in prison for insider trading.
Billy’s motivation is strictly money related, Phil allegedly owed him millions and was a part of the same insider trading scam that sent Billy to prison. While Phil got off, by forfeiting the profits from said scam, in a civil case.

It is none of anyone's business unless one is directly affected. And if he has the money let it go. Where is the proof of the amount he bet as well. Phil has been known to be a degenerate gambler for a long time, but there are so many other things that bring his character into question and as a former Phil fan it’s really disappointing to see. There really isn’t anything that an average person could identify with when it comes to Phil. He really has some work to do, but with that Saudi money it seems unlikely that he will ever acknowledge the problem let alone put in the work to correct it. The story about him and the Augusta practice range is a perfect example as he thinks it’s something to brag about when it shows his better than attitude. It’s very unappealing.

    No problem w lefty
He had a lot of fun doing it
Non-gamblers that are watching this and hear the numbers don’t understand that lefty may have won more games that he lost
Just because he lost $100 million juice doesn’t mean he got killed
The hundred million dollars is what it cost for the pleasure
    that’s the service money
    that’s the juice The Vig
NO PROBLEM at all unless he cost him and his family economic hardship, etc.

Of course Democrat Dan has a problem with anyone who contributes to The Republican Party. Good old dem Dan. I used to listen, and respect him. His true colors have come through in the last 5 to 7 years.

This is old news...do you have an issue with Eldrick's PEDs use, drug abuse, DWI habit, cheating on his wife, girlffiends, many lovers, contempt for his millions of fans, his reputation for heing a tight ass, him representing The First Tee when he didn't represent a single of their character trait, how everyone (media, police, fans, sponsors) cover for his dispicable behaviour.....
