Does it matter which side I put the 30amp generator inlet breaker on?

We ask that you install it in the top right but we could build you one that works with the left!

I was only asking because the left side of my panel is all stove, heater, water heater, dryer snd the right side is all lights and what not. Was just wondering if it mattered. I'd prefer to put it on the right side.
