Dude no reward points are valued at .50 cents per point

TPG literally values Hilton points at .5-.6 cents per point, Marriott is 0.7-.8 CPP. That's why you don't want to transfer Amex or Chase points into hotel programs because you're losing exponential value. You're essentially putting a dollar in and getting 50 cents back when you do so.
