I am going to fit small rev counter on same model. Have to input how many sparks per revolution, do you know how many.?Cheers.

Its a 1 cylinder 4 stroke engine, which means it is 1 spark per 2 revolutions. I think that setting in rpm counters is normally abreviated as 1s2r or something like that.
I can get up to 15 mph with my 6 hp on a 12 ft harbercraft classic 12 with one person. 3.76 nm range per one internal tank.
It looks like your boat does not plane, m I right? You might need to trim better or lust a more powerful engine...
This is not a planing boat.The boat is marked with a maximum of 5HP.
