- I have owned this bike since 1985. It's a 60 Pan with a 57 straight leg frame. The Engine has a S&S Carb and STD Heads. This is the finished product. I rebuilt the engine over the kitchen sink, tranny on the back deck and the wheel hubs on the kitchen stove. I assembled the bike in the house and outside the house. The bike as of this video, has about 1200 miles. It's a daily ride....

Sounds beautiful. Music to my ears.
What a motorcycle should look like! 😎👍
Thank you
Lil touche of gold, love it. Keep the rubber side down.
Ty & will do
Now that is a very nice '60 Panhead custom for go and not just show.
My friend you done an excellent job...it's just ah beautiful piece of art and I bet everytime you just look at it..it just moves ya don't it?..just ..Damn!
Thank YOU. Working ON A 53
What a beautiful bike ! Even more of a beauty with the Panhead . Motorcycle engineers and designers should take note of what people really want . Instead of keep pumping out motorcycles which look like science fiction projects .
Thank you and I agree with you
Real craftsmanship speaks for itself. Nice job brother...
Ahhhh man....why am I watching this stuff. It's Feb 6 and it's snowing mud outside. Spring....please lord, just let me see another one.
bro it's the end of March and I'm still seeing cold and rain I swear it seems like %90 of the days anymore are cloudy and rainy.
as soon as it's time to start planting garden crops the rain will stop and the sun will keep shining
BEAUTIFUL OLD SCHOOL PANNY👏👏👏👍👍👍👍I ride a ‘51’ pan. The full dressers are nice for LONG runs BUT NOTHIN like OLD SCHOOL BOBBERS👍👍👍✌️
The red dyed fuel line and the gold color on the pushrods give it a nice tweak. Everything about this bike screams cool!
Thank you.
Yes sir you done a excellent job on this bike u should be proud. Be safe out there bro
Thank you. Will do!
"Show `n Go"; my type of chop ! No 'Show Bikes' or 'Trailer Princes' will do. WELL Done, Sir. Pinch yourself !
That’s a thing of beauty
Thank you
Dreamcycle. Love the colors.
Beautiful job on your bike 👍
Thanks
She's a beauty! Great job! Me and my father are rebuilding his old chopper after 30 years. Unfortunately the original Pan motor and trans were stolen so we are putting a aftermarket Shovel back into his 63 frame. Should be done in about a month or so.
Did you get your bike together?
Beautiful Bike Sounds as Good As It Looks to I Love it
Love it Brother! I love the ol Panhead. I will build one some day. Thanks for keeping them alive.

You did an excellent job on that bike man!
DAM!

Beautiful job Bro.

She's a looker for sure !
THANK YOU
Wise choice by going with STD heads. STD heads are lots of money but better material and exhaust mounts. Love the mousetrap. Great old straightbar frame. The color is great. Lots of great detail here.
Your build looks Top-Shelf, Bro. :)
Thanks for the kind words. This coming Memorial Day will be 2 years since the rebuild. Have 1,600 plus miles on it.
Excellent work, hope you still have your Harley and are enjoying riding it.
Still have it. Bought a 53 LE sidecar for it
Beautiful just beautiful,,
Thank you! Cheers!
Now that's one damn fine panhead, good job on keepin another one alive
Thank you
Very nice bike.!!!!!!!!!
Thank you
I love the diamond primary cover. I had the first Mose Trap eliminator, wow is that fun to break in. Always carry a 1/2 and 9/16” open end wrench with you religiously!!! You have to keep adjusting the clutches, if not it keeps walking away with you on it and the breaks won’t stop it. I pot that on my ‘48 Pan.
Real nice job.
Thanks
Diggin that rear spardo brake light! Proper!
beautiful job well done
Great videos! You have a wonderful ability.
One sweet scooter.Nice build
Beautiful bike, awesome restoration!
Thank you
And very Good sound - Harley Davidson is universal !!!
Beautiful bike !!! Love the ol pans
Thank you
Nice bike
Beautiful Panhead sir! Very well done professional looking build. Wish i had that much talent. I own a 75 FLH with a 93" all S&S engine. Sadly it's turned into a life long project. If i ever do get it done it will not be anywhere near as good looking as yours. Keep up the great work.
Wayne Metevia thank you for the compliment.
@amiabledave50
You're welcome sir. Just now found this great video again and read your reply. L.o.l. Btw. Wish I lived next door to you.
Good lookin bike !
Beautiful Pan Dave, including the frame mods! Enjoy.....
g.g. 63 thank you. I have the bike apart and I'm putting the engine into a wishbone frame. I bought a 1953 LE sidecar that I'm going to mount on it
Awesome bike, I wish it was mine.

Thank you
PAN 74 FOREVER !!!!!!
FOR SURE
Nice job
Thanks
Sounds awesome well done..
Nice bike, and your voice sounds similar to a radio personality from a game called Roadkill.
Some days I feel like roadkill but I'm not the radio personality
this Wildman knows how to kick a bike.notice how he keeps his leg bent all the way thru the kick.never straighten the leg.maybe he set on his front porch and cried like a little baby as I did learning how to kick or learning how not to kick.nice ride.knows what to buy to keep value going.watch and learn kids
Good sounding engine
Nice bike, its' my dream ;) Ride safe.
looks great love it
Great job
Thanks
nice bike
Thank you
AWESOME BIKE, I WISH IT WAS MINE, LOL.
Thank you
man nice work bro
sweet bike.
thats nice man good detail
Thank you
Beauty !!! Nice job !
Thank you
Nice job BUT..lol. Next time throw a long spring around your fuel line for a heat sink. Great sound.
Thank you for your time. I'm curious why I should put a spring around my fuel line as a heat sink when it runs perfectly fine. What is your reasoning behind it?
Sick ride !
Thank you
Watching this 10 years late, beauty!! Still own her? You did a fantastic job
Still have the bike. Putting it back to original. Adding a 1953 Le sidecar to it
@@amiabledave50 thanks for the reply, have fun with the side car, that will get some looks! I actually rode a couple bikes with side cars a few times and I have to be honest I hated them even though they look so cool and unique. It totally changed that what makes a bike a bike. The handling the turning just about everything. More like riding a trike as I'm sure you know. But I hope you enjoy and again have fun after all that what its all about! Take care!
great taste all the way around bro. I'm a jealous EVO rider that's is bad to da bone!!!
nice!!!it is so good to see a home built custom instead of all the cookie cutters the rubs ride nowadays....ride safe
+norman olsen Thanks
Sounds perfect
Thank you
Cool bike but i bet the neighbors don't like it at 7am.
Accually it's the 3am returns that gets them
Pure Coolness!
Thank you
She wants to potatoes even cold; a sign of a good rebuild & carb.
I'd have put on a tank bib, looks kinda unfinished there, but flawless all over!
I put the Linkert back on and the original heads.. Thanks
Magnificent...enjoy...
Thank you
Thing about Harleys, it doesn't matter how young or old one is, people just FIT on a Harley....
Your correct. Thank you
Awesome 😎
Very nice...
I think you did well on your skute
Thanks
Sweet!
You did an awesome job my friend!Sounds awesome too!I'm kinda new to old time Harleys and was wondering what a mouse trap is.
Look at the video again and pay attention to the left down tube. The Mousetrap is the fixture with the large spring. When you disengage the transmission using the hand lever, it doesn't fatigue your hand
Also if your clutch cable breaks you can manually use the mouse trap to shift gears. Doing so will get you home instead of being stuck on the side of the road. If you're not careful your fingers can get pinched in between the mount and spring. Hence the name mouse trap.
