Zülfikar and Hümasah continue to get closer to each other! Humaşah's husband, Hasan Pasha, comes to the palace. Hasan Pasha, who learns that Hümaşah Sultan wants to divorce him, goes crazy! He threatens Hümaşah so much that Hümaşah is cornered.
Kösem, on the other hand, thinks that it was Hümaşah Sultan who put her in this situation and takes action to learn her secret. I feel in this show Iskender could have been a really good Sultan, so it was good to see him in the Sultan attire for a sec XD, the story would have been more interesting if Iskender ascended the throne after Ahmed's death but then again its a 'historical show'. Zulfikar and Humasah are the purest couple in this show, they love and respect each other so much. Love their scenes. I like how Humasah didnt cross the limit and is against killing Ahmed unlike the other Sultanas (Shehzade's sisters). Osman is such a sweet guy, he even sacrificed spending a night with Angela despite liking her cause he knows Mehmet likes her.Mehmet is annoying, he ruined Osman's work, and being a crybaby cause Angela was sent to Osman.

I am very surprised that Ahmed gave Kosem the council records when she asked for it. Suleman didn't include Hurrem i in any of his political work. He got really angry at her when he discovered she had a secret room built so that she could listen to what was going on.

Because she knows, how dangerous his feelings for her are. Look at what happened to Halime Sultan. There doesn't need to be an actual affair. Crazy as it seems, but just having inappropriate feelings for a Sultana would get you beheaded in those times, as a man. And for the woman, it would be a source of great shame and possibly reason for banishment.

Does anyone know if sultan Ahmed was poisoned? I can’t find a historical account. Says he died from typhus and gastric bleeding at 28.
I’m guessing if he was no one would probably know. I’m almost positive it isn’t as easy as it seems to determine if someone was poisoned way back then. Or maybe they took creative license
