      @@lilhugh4726 being around 80 makes sense if you are a top 8 player at your position...they gotta put guys from offense and defense on the list with O line (3 positions), DT, DE, QB, WR, TE, RB, LB, DB. So if you take the top 3 from each of those thats already a third of the list.

      Turns out Watt has him beat in every category including TOT, STF, TFL, QB pressures, and PDs.
      Montez only has more sacks with significantly fewer double and triple teams.

      He came in as a 3-4 end with wade phillips. He played dt in a 4 man front (imo did the most damage at) after a few years he would play de on a 4 man front. Then he would just line up where ever he wanted lol. Life long texan fan here.

    Even imagining JJ Watt and his brothers playing hockey instead of pro football is the scariest thing I’ve ever thought of for hockey. I wonder why the brothers didn’t just play hockey if that’s their favorite sport when they have never before seen size and athleticism in the sport of hockey. There size alone could make them seriously scary enforcers but I’m sure they’re also good at playing the game since they played for so long

Let me describe it to you.. if the whole d line sucks but 1 guy that 1 guy will not get many sacks.. if you watchfootball defensive linemen help eachother get sacks... 1 guy just doesn't wreck havok on 5 linemen... if you want to say 5 sacks and idk how many qb hits he had with a pick sick and swatts with a defense that could not help him get sacks the dude is still great.. he isn't getting no 20 sacks season but i see 10-18 with some swatts and maybe pick 6. with really good run stop defence. Now is he worth 16 million.. i don't think so more like 11 million. Cardinals won't say is the best choice for him but he will get sacks there with the defence not leaning on him and other guys pressuring the QB

JJ watt is a hall of famer and in his prime he was untouched and even the best left tackles couldn't guard him 1v1. But you can't sit there and deny that the past few years have been hampered by injury and no one can beat father time. Every great player experiences a decline towards the back end of their career. This list is based off of last year and last year only. I honestly would put him top 150

    I think a lot of people are missing the fact that yes you can argue JJ shouldn't be on this list but you can very easily argue he should be his stats have gone down because there came a point where people said we're not letting him in the backfield and they double and triple him all the time now remove the injury years And you can paint the picture of what's going on he gets way more attention from the offense then he used to But I understand the argument that 66 is way too high I do honestly I would put him in the bottom 20 of the list but still putting him on the list JJ Watt is a real one who deserves his respect and credit Because once again this year they're going to double and triple him again So even if hes not getting the 15 sacks that he used to hes getting the double and triple teams that he didn't get before either
