Discovered WASP in 1984 in "The Dungeonmaster". They did Tormentor in that movie. Still one of my favorite WASP songs..
Chris Holmes deserves way more recognition for the WASP sound. He was managed terribly during those years and never was paid either. Great guitarist.

Excellent reaction! I had no idea anyone was reacting to WASP these days. My favorite group back in the day, and yeah, seeing them live was amazing. They put on a helluva show. And Wild Child was my favorite song. Blind in Texas is a fun one, if you haven’t done that already.

Inside the Electric Circus and The Last Command are a good place to start. You’re gonna love Cries in the Night, Widow Maker and Restless Gypsy.
Wasp wasn't your typical 80s band.. he never sold out and he never stopped being himself.. his history is tragic and beautiful..still 1 in top 5 of all time.

Saw these guys at the Arcadia in Dallas TX in 1984.. their first major tour... multiple times as opening band for KISS, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden... Saw then headline in 1986 with Slayer opening for them.. (MY FIRST MOSH PIT at the age of 16!!)
Brother WASP fucking rules! I grew up in the 80s and this is my favorite WASP song! You are absolutely spot on in your comment... their best music is by far the self titled debut album all the way to Helldorado... the old stuff is the best! Thrash is my favorite subgenre of Metal but Hair Metal is a close second. I've seen over 200 concerts in my life and I'm now 48 and I got to see all the cream of the crop especially as a teenager in the 80s... Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Tesla, Cinderella, Queensryche, Quiet Riot, Ozzy, Poison, Britny Fox, Great White, Whitesnake, Guns N Roses you name them and I've probably seen them! The 80s was the best decade of all time... Metal was awesome, Movies were the greatest and Girls were more interested in partying, going to concerts and sex, lol nowadays it's all about mind games and users that are gold diggers... it was an awesome time, a bottle of jack, a few big fat joints and a hand full of pussy!!!! Just got finished telling someone on another reaction channel that WASP songs like Restless Gypsy and Mean Man are perfect for bikers on a ride, this song qualifies as a road tune as well.

Because of WASP I started to listen heavy metal some 40 years ago.....and still, even today i listen the good old Blackie Lawless with his unique and recognizable style of singing and music.

Got this album on vinyl in 1986, listened to it yesterday, all killer - no filler !
I have loved WASP from the first time i seen them live at Donington Park Monsters of Rock festival back in 1887, i was totally blown away by all the theatrics on stage and the mind blowing music. It has been said that Blackie lives with his husband up in the hollywood Hills which totally explains why he is so theatrical but wether true or not you can not help but love the guy as he really is an awesome performer and a total one off.
Born in 92 I was in highschool about 08 and this song in particular is what I wanted my friends to call me by WILD CHILD because of this song

I saw wasp in Charlotte NC in 2022 and did a meet and greet with Blackie he was amazing he answer all questions and so awesome if you get a chance to see them do it you won't be disappointed and if you get to meet him on there 40th anniversary tour do it he's definitely amazing
