A lot of these could be prevented if Piccolo simply learned to DODGE.
Most of them would've been able to get off easier if they had all learned to DODGE.

I love how they solved the problem of Piccolo not having as many dialogue scenes with the other main characters later on in the series by having him literally have two little voices inside his head to talk to. One of the best written characters for sure.
Also, favourite 'change from canon' is that Piccolo realises how terrible an idea it was to bring him to Namek when that instantly puts the whole reason they went to Namek in huge danger... in the manga it was *his* idea and he's like 'GIMME A PIECE OF THAT FREEZA', and it's jarring how stupid he is lol
I don't get why it's a bad idea to send Piccolo to Namek. Always got confused when he loses his shit when wished back there. What exactly is so bad about him being in Namek?

@@eb8945 So... the entire reason that they went to Namek was because Piccolo died, causing Kami to die and the Dragon Balls to stop working. That meant that Piccolo, Tien, Chaozu, and Yamcha all had to stay dead (and Chaozu anyway since Shenron can't revive people more than once). They then realised they only had 3 wishes with Porunga on Namek, who can only revive one person at once, meaning they would have to wait another year to revive the last person. Then Piccolo had the idea to revive himself, hence reviving Kami and Shenron, then use Shenron to revive everyone else with one wish (still wouldn't work on Chaozu but whatever). BUT then he jeopardises that plan IMMEDIATELY by going to Namek to fight Freeza well before they could gather the Earth Dragon Balls to do the thing that was the point of bringing him back to life. And without Nail, who he had no way of knowing about, he would have died *instantly*, and even then nearly died like 5 times anyway. A very very dumb idea

@@rosePetrichor The restriction on resurrecting the Dead, with the Earth Dragon Balls is actually a restriction on not making the same wish twice. So Goku can revive chiaotzu by wishing "please bring chiaotzu back to life." But he couldn't do it again without some serious word games. You can get around this by generalizing your wish by saying "please resurrect everyone Nappa killed." Causing the same effect to happen, because its not the same wish.

Oh my God Piccolo has a bigger losing streak than Krillin I didn't think that was possible
In Piccolo's defence many of these (at least 30) were counted twice. Secondly, they also counted every single time he took a hit. Unlike the Krillin counter that only counted things once, and only counted when he was actually owned, not whenever he took a hit.

He's my favorite Dragon Ball character in general, I'm a little sad he was given the low end of the stick after his fight with 17 in the original show.
Seeing that he has a lot more going on for himself in this dub made me really happy, I love his dynamic with Nail and Kami.
Once he fused with Nail he went from a 9 to a 10

They count Freiza hitting him with the same exact shot more than once. Like 5 minutes apart in the video. Guess they had to pad the runtime or something.

@@ohiorushbaby The joke is that in the DragonBall universe the King of Earth (Apparently Earth is all one country with one world leader in this universe) is a human like dog and thus literally a "son of a bitch" so if a critic or hater of the King calls him an SOB it can be perceived as a racist insult as opposed to a normal world leader. Not only is it a play on the King himself but also pokes fun at today's highly sensitive culture with identity politics.

I love how in these owned counts the counter doesn’t always go up because the character doesn’t get injured, they could just be screwed over in some way or just be insulted and the counter could go up.

Funny thing about Garlic Jr. I'm pretty sure his official powerlevel was actually above Frieza's from what I've seen at 100,000,000. So the dead zone was about the only way they win that fight.
It seems wrong to count any casse where:
- Goku was getting owned as well. He is the protagonist and if he is struggling, that means it is hard
- where he gave as good as he got. Particulary thinking about the 1st Freeza, 1st Cell and 2nd #17 fight
When you realize Piccolo has been owned more than Yamcha
Yamcha's only fights in DBZ were the Saibaman that killed him and a Cell Junior. He also got beat by Dr. Gero, but that wasn't really a fight. Meanwhile Piccolo fought Raditz, Nappa, Frieza, Dr. Gero, Android 17, Cell, and a Cell Junior. (not counting the Buu saga because that wasn't abridged)
