    Great progress Joe. I love the way you make you’re own inclines. Very neat ideas and great results. Hopefully they will work well for you…regards, Chris

    👏👏👍 This is great, I even learn english😊, now I know what incline means 😉👍. Smart what you do in the corner, removable part for maintenance 👌.. I will not "challenge" my English too much, only say I look forward to your "rockwork". Thank you I enjoyed t to watch... You even made your own wire cutter 👏👏👏 smart man 👌

    Hello Joe. Great idea for making your own inclines. I like the idea of your layout basically being inside a crater, no backgrounds, just rock faces. I’m so glad I ran across this. I sub’d, so I won’t miss any episodes. Take care. See you next time.

      Cool, thanks. Living on an island with no trains, one has to be a bit creative :) Most of the background images I found made me feel like I was in the UK, so I went for something local :) Thanks for the sub :) I even made my own curved inclines. Good fun adn very cheap compared to what I found online!! Be safe :)

    Nice work with the inclines, great technique in getting the slope perfect using the metal guides. All the best Tony.

      Thanks 👍 Next I wish to put some tracks on them and try them out before going any further! :)

    I didn’t see it in the video or the comments - what grade of slope are you using? Is that the max you’re comfortable with or would you go steeper if need be? Great jigs and cutters!!

      Hi and thanks for watching :)
      The grade I try my best to stick to is 1:50 or 2%, whichever is easiest for you. I am comfortable with this because it is the recommended incline to have, and it seems to work with all my trains, even my longest, so win win for me. I do have a short section where it might be a slight bit steeper but that is because of lack of space above and below it, so I had to make do, but it is so short that it is negligible.
      Thanks for your comment :)

      Thanks. Hope it works out for you like it did me. I have also managed to make curved ones in a very similar way I made these :)

    Why do you use foam board? It is noisey. Iwould use risers and homosote.

      @Hal-Zuzzu_Model_Railway  Před 8 měsíci +1

      That was the old layout, but then I have no problem with the noise. It does not annoy me! It is a noise I can tolerate and gives me pleasure :) It is, after all, a nose my hobby makes :)
