Thank you. I am approaching 63 years on this earth. As a young woman and even into middle age, I was fortunate enough to enjoy the genes passed on to me by my father in the form of a tall, slender build. I mention this because, in my case, appearances are highly deceiving. I was spoiled by the gift of an unearned physique, which made me lazy. I have taken this gift for granted, and now I am paying the price. I feel as if I have quickly grown old, with very limited ability to move my body. If I want to stay healthy, I’m going to have to begin and maintain a program of regular physical exercise… something my doctor has been urging me to do for years. This is day one for me. I accomplished your workout, but not without significant feelings of tightness and immobility, particularly in my upper body. I’m so grateful to you for posting this. I will be back tomorrow, and will eventually graduate to something more strenuous. Lol I guess I should not get ahead of myself…Just saying that once I have employed these gentle movements every day for a week or two, I hope to feel a modicum of improvement through dedication. Thanks again.

New sub, i have back and neck issues from 40 yrs as a caregiver, plus chronic migraines. I have gained 80 lbs since my Mom died in 2017 and can't seem to get a grip. Now it's hard for me to be on my feet longer than a few mins at a time. Am hoping your videos will help move me in the rightdirection.

I identify with your knee thing. It’s the hips, isn’t it? They creak a bit as we age! 😂😂😂 But I notice that if I do something this gently, every day, then after two weeks, it’s a little easier, without injury which makes me stop! Hope it gets easier for you too. X

Perfect segue after a week off. Had an intestinal procedure that advised against any "strenuous activity" for 7 days, so took advantage of resting, but WOW did I miss this! Feeling so much better and I can feel my body is ready to resume its regular Yoga with Tina again tomorrow! 🎉 😊❤

Thankyou 😊 I’m extremely tight in the hips with bone on bone knees so I found it extremely hard to bend my knees to get me foot up to do hip part 😕

I am 76 with a huge growth in the base of my spine, i need to do something to stop the pain...doctors want to stop the fentynal patches one says because of my age, which I don't believe and the other one says its to do with the fact it depresses the respiratory system as i have COPD whichever itvwould be hood to get off the patches

just subscribed to your channel tried the chair yoga.The only thing i find difficult is putting my legs upon the opposite knee . due to hip replacement is there a different way i can do it
Hi Ruth, thank you for subscribing, its great to have you practicing with me. As a modification I would recommend using a block under the ankle instead of trying to lift it onto the other knee. This will give you a similar opening in the hip. I will put together a short showing this and let you know when its available. 🙏❤️
