A Quick Look at my Choices for Dollar Tree Junk Journal Challenge plus two photos of my start

- Since I have so many items from Dollar Tree already, I decided to shop my stash first and supplement with a few more items from a shopping trip.
I've started making my journal and have a couple of photos at the end of the video showing a bit of what I've done. So far it's been a lot of cutting file folders and manilla envelopes to make the basis for the journal. But I am having fun and being challenged to make things work in new ways because the things I might normally use for the solution aren't in my 16 Dollar Tree item list.

Thank you, Kathleen. Most of the supplies I’ve had on hand, but our store is generally pretty well stocked. However, there were none of the scrap packs the past few times I’ve been in. I think if you see something you like it’s best to get it then because it may not be there next time. I’m am having fun making this journal. I love boho too, and keep talking about it but haven’t actually done one yet. This will be my first. Thanks for your comment.

That soap saver gives a great texture. I should try it with my gelli plate.

Wonderful supplies. I just finished my 2nd DT junk journal, but only the 1st one for the actual challenge. So much fun - first jj I ever made! TFS. I look forward to seeing your progress and finished journal. Love that stencil!
