How to Add Your Index Card Art in Window Envelope Frames for Your Junk Journals

- Many of us believe that journals that are written in become more personal and interesting than before. I believe that it is the same thing with adding even a small amount of your own art to your journals. A small doodle in the corner of a page adds a bit of your personality to that page. Maybe you are hesitant to draw in your journals because you feel that your art isn't "good enough," and you have a fear of "ruining" the page.
May I suggest a way to ease into adding your art to your journals: make your drawings on index cards. Little art on 3x5-inch cards can be charming and add so much to a page. There are many styles of art; you don't have to do museum-worthy pieces to add some art to your journals. It is fun and relaxing to draw, doodle, make marks, and so many other forms of art. I encourage you to give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed, and your journals will become one-of-a-kind expressions of you. And please don't let the critic in your head discourage you from getting started or keep you from continuing to make art. Everyone has to start somewhere, and art doesn't have to be "good" to be good for you.

Michele, an artist and junk journaler, whose channel is The Creative Cove / @thecreativecove6898 will show how she makes line drawings of botanicals and other art. Danny Gregory's channel is Sketchbook Skool / @sketchbookskool . He is a self-taught artist, who encourages us to make art for the fun of it, for health and mental benefits, and to develop your skill. In this short, he explains how drawing improves your physical function: • Unlock Your Creativity...
He teaches us how to draw, improve and enjoy our drawings, and takes away the intimidation factor that keeps so many from getting started and staying creative.
These are just two artists on CZcams who I have found to be encouraging. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of others that you may discover suit your style better. I encourage you to check it out, but also to just get started making art. I believe that you will not regret it.
