Yeah Jiraya is being kind of dumb he knows there’s strong enemies and leaving Deku unprepared is just begging to get him killed. Also there was never a guarantee that Deku would go on the same path as Jiraya he might have also gone rouge and seek knowledge elsewhere. Not to mention that he could just teleport to the other world and learn from others as well. Jiraya is not going to get father of the year he’s barely beating endeavor.
Oh I get it now many central & secondary characters are that are killed in the naruto verse are getting reborn into the My Hero Academia world and are age differently in living out lives similar to beforehand Or differently as a second chance. There's an interesting concept that I'm glad you're taking advantage of and with this part of the story having more surprises and shenanigans certain characters roles, appearances, & interactions which I also hope that involves movie characters of both sides as well 😀 🤩❤🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🩶💝
