The Division 2 Chatterbox Exotic SMG Guide - All Hyena Key Locations, Hyena Chest Parts & Blueprint

. To craft the Chatterbox Exotic SMG you will need to find all the parts and then the blueprint before you can craft it. There are 3 parts to locate before getting the blueprint. There is one part available in 3 different areas. Before you can open the Hyena Chest boxes, you must collect Hyena Keys. These keys are located in underground areas across the map. There are over 30 different possible locations. Opening a Key cabinet will give you a random faction key. You'll need Hyena Keys. These Key cabinets are on a 24 respawn timer. You can not go into another players world and open their cabinets as it'll be empty and reset your 24 hour timer. You'll need between 4-12 keys depending on your luck with RNG. Once you have the key, it's time seek out each of the 3 parts.
SMG: Loaded Canister - This is found in Downtown East. Two in the open world and 2 in Grand Washington Hotel mission. Once you found the part, do not open any more Hyena boxes in this district.
SMG: Creative Magazine - This is found in Federal Triangle. There are 2 open world chests and one in the Jefferson Trade Center mission. Again, don't open any more Hyena boxes in this region once you looted the magazine.
SMG: Modified Mods - This is found in one of two open world boxes in Judiciary Square
When you open a Hyena box you have a chance for one of the SMG parts. It is not guaranteed. If you do not receive the necessary part, you will have to WAIT 24 Hours for the chests to reset. I know that sucks. Don't open a Hyena chest outside these 3 areas and do not open any more within a district you've already collected a part. Once you get the blueprint feel free to use any remaining keys to get loot from the Hyena chests.
AFTER you have the 3 SMG parts, you will now need to get the Chatterbox Exotic Blueprint. This is found in the Bank Headquarters main story mission. After you have defeated Rebound, you will need to loot a key from him. Go into the next set of rooms and on the left side of the room there is a hidden panel that will reveal a RFID Keycard. Grab that and once you enter the vault, go into the first room on the left and pray to the RNG God and open the Hyena Chest. This is the one and only location for the Lost Chatterbox Blueprint. Go back to BOA and craft your new gun and earn the Taste of the Exotic trophy if this is your first Exotic item.

Don't you have to do the mission on challenging difficulty for it to drop? because I opened the chest and nothing came out. And I have all 3 parts
@@matthieubourque2137 It's not supposed to be guaranteed. Regarding the difficulty, I haven't seen anyone saying that is has to be a certain difficulty.

Hey ive been opening the boxes and it doesn’t drop for me and i just became lvl 30 does level or score have anything to do with it
gianfranco dalbo you need to get to world tier 4 and upgrade your bench.
gianfranco dalbo I got them once I completed the 2 final strongholds after you reach level 30. You don’t have to wait till you reach tier 4. But it’s better to craft it once you’ve upgraded your bench after reach tier 4.

This is the best tutorial for getting the cheddar box that I have seen on CZcams so far nobody else has said once you get a piece for the Chatterbox do not open any more boxes in that area. I've been doing that and not getting any more pieces and have been getting frustrated. thank you very much for clarifying this

At 2:48 there’s 3 keys in there the extra is on a hidden room by the south entrance like for everybody to see
Believe it or not I found 4 keys there’s another one in a door I had to shoot open

Hands down best information in any of these guides about which underground locations have the most keys, made my farming much more efficient, also not all guides showed the open world hyena boxes, just got my first exotic way quicker as a result of this vid than others for the chatterbox

Looks like exotic drop from Hyena boxes has a better chance when you replay Hyena's missions. I wasted about 7 keys in open world but in both replayed Hyena missions I got exotic parts.

@@lust2159 Looks like it. If you look at the required materials that it takes to craft, looks like they're consumed. But, you can get the blueprint, just don't craft it until you upgrade your bench to level 5

I think i F up my gun i craft it at level 250 am level 460 now how can craft another one?
@@moalqahtani253 There should be an upgrade you can buy at the white house vendor for I think 400+ credits or something. It basically allows you to increase the gearscore of the chatter box from 250 to 450, required that you have exotic filaments. And the only way to get that is by deconstructing exotic weapons. Hope this helps :)
Edit: The only other way to get a 450 (or 460) chatter box is by farming the pieces again.
Doing Hyena Bountys also gives you keys.
By far the easiest and most helpful guide to obtain the chatterbox. Way more detailed than all the other vids I watched. I wasted so many keys before I seen this one. Thank you.

Can this be done on story mode? Asking cause in the video he switched difficulty from normal to story then shows him going after rebound for the vault key just curious trying to save myself time I'm 6 keys in on the loaded canister and finally got it!

Theres one down in open world by the not yet opened stronghold "tidal basin"

Most of them are in the " invaded " missions.
They are mostly found in Invaded missions and strongholds. When the update drops this week, you'll be able to replay Invaded missions as often as you'd like. So don't sweat it, man. You'll be burning through those keys in no time.

I've ran around the entire building and cannot find the parking garage for the modified mods in judiciary square
go into through front doors & turn right then go all way down stairs to get to garage & its past the mini gun at back

I opened about 20-25 box's and I got 13 hyena keys

@@glmn.visuals no you don't I was lvl 27 when I done it but you have to be at least world tier 1 and lvl 30 to get the parts so just finish all main missions

Are you sure you dont have it? Check your inventory and theres a secret side mission that also has one and the stronghold also has one plus the 2 in the open world. Look at widdz videos and he has both videos.
