- Secret finale for my first Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough. Lv 50 "Edgerunner" focused on Pistols, Knives and Katanas with intermediate Quick Hack/Breach Protocol capabilities, rounded off with Ninjitsu and Cold Blood for better Quick Hack cool downs and stealth.
Difficulty was set to Very High (Maximum) with multiple game play mods and changes which make the game harder. Normal open world gameplay I can be killed within 1 to 4 shots depending on the enemy and their weapon, during this mission I died over 20 times trying to get a good run on recording as things would kill me within a single shot or two if I'm lucky.
Main gameplay mods used (All manually installed from Nexus, only game/mechanic altering mods listed. I have over 240 mods installed and the ones listed are mainly used to make the game harder, add some new features and fix bugs)

This was one of the hardest hitting scenes of the game. Either you gain riches, glory and everything you could ever want, or you die guns blazing, but you don't take anyone to die with you
best thing is you save all your loved ones AND get option to SURVIVE ... if you give body to Johny (at that point no reason not to, you are already an Engram, wheher you stay in net or get uploaded back it wont change one iota on what you have become) and go with Alt that is the ONLY way for V to not die...

@@Asghaadother then commiting suicide or the new ending, there is no confirmation whether he lives or dies. In every ending there are hints that he could still survive. It's purposely that way so you can make your own headcanon
@@jacobhatch2296 in Arisaka Ending you die in 6 months, the same in Nomads ending, and the "legend" ending is the same premise with the casino heist being the last hail mary attempt with zero guarantee it will even matter - most likely not...but thats the ONLY one slightly ambiguous whether V lives or not
the "dont fear the Reaper" where V goes with Alt ending is the only one where both Johny and V get to exist for longer than six months - Johny keeps the body and V construct goes behind the Blackwall joining the AIs.
and the "new" ending leaves V helpless and vulnerable, only a matter of time before somene comes in to collect the debt V has - whether its Arisaka, Militech, Biotechnica, Maelstrom or any other of the corps or gangs doesnt really matter, V stepped on a lot of toes and its only matter of time before someone gets to collect the bounty ...
so still the solo run on Arisaka with V going with alt is the ONLY one of the endings where we know both our protagonists survive...
When I did this mission as a netrunner any hit was KO, man the smasher fight was almost a horror game
Damn I did it with a sandy build with comrades hammer and katana, it was a breeze. Netrunners are squishy asf though so that would probably be the hardest build to do this on.

Int 20, Body 20, tech 20 ... max health, max armor, regen + every possible critical chance mod + LSC ...
Oneshotting everything with Widowmaker or electroshokc therapy blasting saka elites with Buzzsaw THROUGH WALLS is fkn broken or having fun with the Netwatch Netrunner MK.5 and Short Circuit, Overheat, Synapse Burnout, Contagion...
@@Asghaad eh that's more a hybrid build I'd say, like the equivalent of a battlemage in this game vs a pure mage. I was referring to a pure netrunner which doesn't spec into STR. Sick build though dude.

I had commanders hammer and 3 headshots to smasher fucking destroyed him. Combine that with quickhacks between shots and I fucking bullied him on my 3rd try. Had to stun him each time he used his BS rockets.
You weapons weren't powerful enough. You gotta find the legendary ones once your level is maxed.
My favorite part about this mission is how scared the guards are that all this is from one lone merc.

I cannot describe how much I love when games give me the option to just go fucking ballistic on the enemy, mowing down absolutely everybody I see against all odds. And I don't regret re-doing 10 hours of progress in order to get the correct dialogue options for this ending!
this is also why I prefer the alternate ending in RDR2. so satisfying for Arthur to just let loose and blaze a trail of carnage despite the odds

I like to think this the Cyberpsycho-ending for V. An engram on a biochip convinces V to go alone in a tower full of hostiles and massacre them all, and then be "cured"
Very rerminicent of Johnny's "Hand", an entity that inside his mind that takes the form of his cybernetic arm speaking to him, and canonically convinces him to actually go out guns blazing against Smasher in TTRPG books. It is believed that this "Hand" was a symptom of cyberpsychosis that made Johnny do dumb shit and act on his hatred towards corpos.

That makes a lot of sense, especially since the memories we see of Johnny’s assault on Arasaka Tower were heavily dramatised to make Johnny seem stronger than what he was. Somewhat implying he doesn’t remember or recall exactly what happened.
There's no doubt that even though it's really obscure and unnecessarily difficult to get to if you miss it the first time around, this is probably among the most badass secrets in videogame history
It really is a fantastic final showdown. Just you against the tower.
Especially with the way the guy did it. Imagine it from the enemies' point of view. Dude just zooming around the room picking people off in seconds with no time to react. Adam was still talking shit during the boss fight, but he was half health before he even saw who he was fighting. This is defiantly the most badass version of V I've ever seen.
I love how some of the voicelines show utter disbelief from the guards that this is happening, the one at 4:27 really sells it. You have become so powerful that the guards of the biggest corp in night city didn't even know it was possible to be so powerful.

second off 6 months of slow PAINFUL DEATH arent even an option, an "easy way" solution would be prefferable to months of torture
and lastly part of Vs personality were already overwritten by Johny ... V is already dead, killed by Dexter partially erased by the relic, the post heist V is already a reanimated dead body
and as a bonus getting transferred to a Construct means you become IMMORTAL ... at that point you could easily just transfer that consciousness into a mechanical or organic body and when that fails/gets obsolete just jump into a new one (meaning CBP2077 could be a "prequel" in universes like EvE online or Warframe where this concept is very much present )

Did this run on very hard with a level 36 Body + Berserk character. Used Guts shotty, and River's revolver, Flashbang and some EMP grenades on the lower level with the hoard of Bots. Took me multiple tries but I finished it and is by far the most fun I had on a very long time. That hard Guts recoil when I shot smasher in the face felt extra good
Just imagine witnessing a entire cyberpsycho attack a year ago, only for a year later, A lone cyberpsycho to massacre everyone in there
Man I was playing this on very hard recently and getting 1 or 2 shot by bosses all the way to random gangers so I was dreading adam smasher until he hit me with his gun and it only did 1 damage per hit

My tip if your low body, sandy with grenade spam preferably level 1 since those are easier to spam Adam with and ani personnel grenades since those will one shot most enemies and for mechs, emp nades just be careful of the shock radius and have your finger on the heals level 3 preferred lastly mantis blades with thermal the legendary motor mod micro motors and as many negates as possible so you don’t get burned shocked or bled or poisoned I did mine on hard so results may vary
The Sandy I was using is from a mod which drastically reduces the duration, while inflicting self damage due to moving that fast as it would put stress on the body, but makes all Katana hits a OHKO. If anything survives, it takes a heavy bleed DOT until it dies as seen at 1:29

I've only finished my first ever playthrough and love this game inside and out, and I also saw all the headlines about the shock and disappointment when it was released. But seeing the graphical quality downgrade from present to then? Holy shit, I can't believe it, I'm in shock but so glad to see the work that's been put in to put it right. Still can't wait for Phantom Liberty though. Slick moves though, completely appropriate level of confirming the kill with Smasher.

I did all the endings, really felt in love how this game was, the only BIG - is that they never gave us an ending where we can separate v and Johnny so they could both be alive... like finding Johnny body somewhere deep in arasaka tower and sending silverhand to his original body... so much potential wasted😢

The dlc is chronologically before any endling
If you decide to return to your body at the end you have 6 months to live, for me "The Sun" is to accept your death and live peacefully what you have left, because realistically if you did not find anything to help you in night city, you will not find it anywhere else.

i like how the only good ending where nobody has to die is the hardest ending to get, its really obscure you have to wait 5 minutes while also having done enough quests with rogue, you have to storm araska tower all on your own, your health constantly depletes down as the relic degrades, and when you fight adam smasher if you fight him with rogue or panem they lower his hp to 80% making the fight a little easier and you get support too, but adam smasher is at full stregnth from the beginning. they really want you to earn that good ending

The game is more appealing in terms of damage, not difficulty. If you have a faster movement build and stock up on medkit, it works.

Doing this on very hard as a level 30 yesterday was a nightmare. But I did it. Smasher fight was so difficult

I also just did a level 50 but with bladerunner and almost no armour. Boy was it fucking hard during the Adam Smasher fight. Especially with the snipers.
New to the game, but are you using Sandy and Cyberdeck together? Is it possible to run two operating systems at once?
If you're on PC, you can get a mod I believe called Cyberware EX.
Is he using a synaptic accelerator to slow down time ? I’m only asking because he seems to be using it at will like a sandevistan.
