When you become a lantern collector you also become a shed collector!
So true 👍 I never thought about it but it’s definitely right.
One can never have enough storage! I can't get over how that shed came in just two boxes! That is amazing! :D
Yes it’s going to be great and amazing how they got it all in 2 boxes wow 👍
I've built a couple of those sheds over the years it's nice to know that the instructions haven't changed one bit😅😂😊
Oh the horrible instructions indeed and I have to really thank my son because he’s really been a big help on this project I really was the guy just holding up the panels as he built it.
Hi Ken, The shed looks GREAT! I bought a similar one from Sears about 35 years ago. I remember telling them they must be mistaken because my shed is 8x8 and this box is so small! 😂. Like you it took me a long time to get it together but it held up well. Two things that become precious later in life is Time and Space! 😃👍
Thanks and it’s been great so far and I actually had virtually the same shed at my old house and held up great for the 7 years that I lived there.
Good project! Nothing better than more storage space. You will fill it up in no time😁! Thanks
Yes you’re correct and already almost full 😆
Yes a nice little shed you built there Ken, to put extras things there to free up space in the lantern workshop in the garage!👍👍 Fantastic job!🙂🔊😇😘
Thanks Jeff it’s finally coming together and I still have to do a bit of organizing in the garage 👌
@@lotsatrains You betcha Ken! 👍 Little bit at a time & yup more room in the garage for more lanterns!👍👍
glad you have some extra storage Ken it looks great.
Thanks so much and now on to organize the rest of the garage 👍
Ah, good deal, Ken! That'll make a great storage area for you! Looking forward to some more lantern content in the future. :)
Thanks Rob this shed will be a big help for sure especially with all the stuff that builds up in the garage 😂
I been thinking about getting a shed too! Nice shed, i like that you got wide doors. Can't wait for a lantern video Ken !
Yes 👍 the wide doors was definitely taken into consideration when making this purchase and a little bit of extra work with some silicone caulk here and there to get it weatherproof but I think it came out pretty good 👍
Hey, Ken. Nice looking aluminum shed you got there. Yeah, I know how those Chinese to English instructions can be. Great video and thanks for sharing.
Thanks it was a little challenging at times but I think it is pretty good now 👍
Yup, screen in the vents. Dont want mud daubers clogging up tubes.
Yes definitely and I actually got it done now too 👍 instead of just talking about it as I sometimes do 😂
Are the lanterns going into the shed? Or staying in the garage and the bicycles in the shed. If you're putting lanterns in the shed, put some foam insulation on the ceiling.
To keep the heat out.
Too bad you're not closer to Detroit. I would be glad to give you a hand👋👋👋👍
This is just for my bicycles to free up some space in my garage so I can have a little more room to move around when working in it.
Hi! I have been cleaning an old lantern I got from my Dad and it’s a cold blast No.2 PAGOMA brass base. I found the Nebraska company history who made them but I have been trying to find a guesstimate of what year it’s from. Would you have a rough guess? Many thanks!!
Hi there sounds like you have a great lantern there and it’s kind of hard for me to put a date on it without seeing it but assuming it was manufactured by Embury like the ones that I have I would say approximately 70 to 90 years old.
wow!! Dad loved antiques and I inherited quite a few. I am polishing the brass which is so exciting, and it looks functional still. I saw a video of yours about testing the tank; that’s the next task
@@cfcm_design hopefully it’s still leak tight but definitely not fixable if not.
I mean pretty easy to fix but don’t think that came out right the first time 😆
